What I liked about this particular anime: Even though the in and outs daily lives of the girls were what series was focused on, it didn't completely ignored the boy's POV. It did an incredibly GREAT job reminding me how it felt like to be a teenager, completely hooked on pop culture and what was in/out at the time. Worrying about girls and going through the process of realizing that girls were more than just something to throw mud at for a laugh. This is one of the few 'slice of life' and girl focused anime I won't grow tire of watching.

Well as I said in my post here gonna put this on my bottom marathon lists of anime watch because of the stripe panty and kick similarities on the 1st episode and personally Iam impressed how the love triangles maturity, growth and development of some the characters here are well done. Awesome ending to boot.
Now DL the fanservice OVA. 5/5 on my part, At first it won't pick up, though later episodes it gets interesting. Iam recommending this it's a must watch.

I recently caught up on this series. Enjoyed it very much. I think the cancellation of the manga helped the series. It forced a succinct ending. Admittedly cliched, but more poignant than it would have turned out had it dragged on 15+ volumes (like another Kawashita manga that will remain nameless).

You're definitely right. Thanks for the sudden cancellation, Mizuki-sensei gave it a simple yet satisfying ending. If it drag on along more I think it won't have as good as an ending it has right now.

yeah, i'm bumping this year old thread. rewatching some of this show, and it really is a good benchmark for romantic development and how characters should convey their feelings. its one of a few shows that truly depicts how people feel when they're in love. especially ep. 9 with Nao and the whole painting/art room arc. its amazing.

i loved this series,
at first i believed that kusuda would turn out to be that annoying perverted guy friend thats so prominent in romcoms, but his story (with kei) turned out to be the highlight. the confession at the ocean and the girls hearing it all...great stuff 9/10!! |
