I can't say for EU, but normal MMO pricing is 14.99 a month. Been that for a long time now.

An 'Unholy Alliance' setup - very amusing. I like how they took the brutal-spectator-sport theme and ran long with it (down to the commercial blurb at the end).

So I decided to pre order it after all. Like most MMOs I figure even if I end up not liking it I'll still get the free month of play out of it which is more than most single player games last for me now.

Is anyone going to be playing together? I was looking at either a Republic Trooper or Smuggler.

Newbie Smuggler.

PVP video, but has the most 'real' combat of the game I've seen. Skip to about 5-6 min in to get the good stuff.

Some more PVP.. with less announcer blocking the view.

Huh, that PvP vid was fun to watch, and this is coming from someone who usually hates watching MMO PvP playbacks. The action was easy to follow despite the lightshow of lightsabers, blasterfire and explosions.

Details on the scaling in comparison to PvE have not been released yet, but yes there will be PvP sets.

Actually, playing devil's advocate, for many, it DOES make or break the game. Some in the LGBT community feel it's a slap in the face, seeing as Bioware has included SGRA's in previous games (albeit those were single players, not mmo's). This is an entirely valid complaint, and it's compounded by the fact that the last word on it was a post saying more information would be passed along when they could (that's not the exact quote but it's way early in the morning and I'm not gonna go searching again lol).
I do not want to turn this thread into SGRA vs OGRA or anything like that; but I will say there are valid points of concern from both sides of the discussion, which is why the thread's in it 20 something incarnation.
I am waiting for the final word on this from Bioware, to see what they say based on the aforementioned "further info".

For an MMO which touts "story story story", to have one romance arc available and not the other breaks immersion for some people. That's not a good thing

I'm just not ready to grab my pitchfork and torch, because I know Bioware is anything but anti-gay.

Honestly? People are blowing the whole romance shtick out of proportion. Romance arcs are a teeny tiny portion of any Bioware game, one can play an entire game and not even notice they missed them. To say that not having one half of something that is already a tiny part of the game to begin with ruins the entire game is just looking for excuses to blow up to justify ones dislike.
