Agreed, it keep the same intensity but with a fully female cast which is more to my liking. Also having absurd skills that in story they try to explain it realistically are also something common in sport mangas. Although Keijo skills probably feel more absurd than normal because of how they mix with the fanservice.

I wonder what exactly was Hanabi's technique and what will be the explanation for it. Hanabi generally attacks the head to knock someone out so maybe she is doing something to the brain through the vertebral column that would make someone goes berserk / reinforce / unlock potential. It's a pity because doesn't seems like Nozomi will win through her own power, but at least she was about the same level with Saya before her personality change. And makes sense she wouldn't be able to, at this point, beat fair and square the very first of the other school, considering how powerful their own school first seems to be.
