I have found what I believe to be proof that Rukia, at least, has feelings for ichigo. Go onto www.mangavolume.com and look into the bleach series from the drop bar, select chapter 235 and page 18. Its near the bottom *smug mode*

And? I would not call a 7 point lead a rousing victory for you when compared to similar Japanese polls that has Ichihime hundreds of votes behind.

It should be well known by now that Western fans seem more sympathetic to Ichihime while the opposite seems true in Japan.

Meh. Ichihime and IchiRuki are like the DS and PSP in japan. The DS sells a whole lot, and while the PSP sells pretty good, it just flat out sucks compared to the DS. This is the case with Ichihime and IchiRuki. And now Ichihime is steadily gaining popularity there, like the PSP is too.

That must make UlquiHime the Wii of Bleach hetero pairings in Japan since it's new, odd, and enjoying quick success in Japanese fandom. Even the official TCG for the HM arc saw the money in catering to that pairing.

Hell, there was an explosion of fanart for it from just that "Everything divide us" sketch in Vol. 30.

Of course, with Japanese fandom one cannot underestimate the popularity of yaoi pairings. In fact, if I remember correctly Gin/Kira is the most popular overall pairing over there.

Ulq x Ori is definitely still popular pairing in Japan than Ichi x Ori. But in popularity, no one can beat Ichi x Ruki. They just had an Ichi x Ruki festival in Japan, with 49 stores, and they only do this for popular pairings (so people are likely to come), not to mention, this is the first time a pair in Bleach had a festival of it's own.

You could barely see Inoue's head in that picture LOL But I do agree with you. When I first watched that scene, I thought they did look cute. Grimmjow's better off missing a limb. The more he doesn't talk, the more charming he is. X.X He should just can it and pose.
