CrunchyRoll get the censored/TV-air version. A-TX gets the uncensored version, so rips of it show up later. Though there isn't a huge amount to uncensor this episode, really.

Though, with this series, the integral aspect of the ink blots makes censoring quite different than most ecchi harem comedies.

CR will forever have inkblots. All their stuff is censored. Its so that the site is "safe." This way the advertisement sites won't get mad at them telling them to drop stuff. And their site won't get flagged for adult content.

Finally!! I've been waiting for Gutsugutsu to become a master samurai since last season. Best episode of the season. Naoe's mistreatment was handled with a more serious tone for once. She may be the buttmonkey of the series but she's still got feelings. I'm happy Muneakira sees her as a previous comrade. I wasn't sure how he felt until now.

Next week is the return of Gisen... bring it!

Naoe!!! Finally! I too have been waiting since season 1 for this.
Her master samurai form's awesome too, I love the colors. I hope they make a figure for it. There was a lack of fanservice this time but I got full time Naoe so it's all good!

Also as soon as she spoke out when she wasn't supposed to, I was expecting the "Imase~n" routine and it happened, it was great and hilarious once again. That voice is just too funny.

FINALLY. Is all I can say about this episode. Kanetsugu was always a favorite of mine, glad to finally see her get in.

Next week, looks like eye-patch holly hot ass is back for round 2.

ok, never watched this series before. Like any of it... none. Is it totally fanservice (which is fine) or is there a cohesive story as well? Am I wrong about it being fanservice-full?

No offense to anyone (if this question even sounds offensive).

How would anyone feel offended? I don't feel offended. Its pretty much 97% fanservice and 3% plot. They tweaked the source material so its pretty different if you read the service material. And yes S2 is a continuation of S1. Its not like its not watchable, they're plenty of things that have been epically butchered. In terms of plot its better than freezing, but it'd lose to queen's blade if you wanted pure fanservice

Samurai Bride 04 - 再び、はじめ

It's only now that I realize the makeup of the cast. Toyosaki, Kotobuki, and Mizuhara, and now Noto this season. The bonds of samurai and big breasts unite two series that I'm rather fond of, and invite some intriguing possibilities. Gisen's also been depowered, but her skills here are more mental. That trickery she pulled on everyone was good for a few laughs. (Not the first time a Kugimiya character has tried fake boobs. Iori did the same thing.) Of course, Gutsugutsu got hit the hardest with it. The Dark Samurai are proving to be kinda likable, at least Musashi. Kojiro seems a little protective... perhaps too protective. And now we know what "Samurai Bride" means - it's like a super form for these magical girls. Jubei is narratively the most likely to achieve it, but I'm not going to rule out any other possibility. Maybe if Beta and Hanzo become Master Samurai before that. A nice little episode, and I liked the small changes in the ED to work Gisen into the events.

Next week's another beach episode! The first season's featured a lot of Naoe, so who knows what'll happen this time?

So there was actually a deeper meaning to the title. I'd say the method Gisen told Gutsugutsu about is probably the most likely to work... I can't believe Naoe was actually willing to go this far to become a samurai bride. Where did the girl who claimed contact between men and women is only allowed up to light hugging during a dance go?

Beach episode next week. Should be interesting.
