Ok, thought I'd ask everyone's help here on this project since I've gotten a bit out of the loop anime wise due to my schedule. I'm currently trying to put together an unofficial calendar of "most important events in anime" for the rest of this year and into early next year and was wondering if you guys could help me. I've already put a couple of conventions on my list that stood out as "important" (acen is one of them) as well as some other small upcoming things including some shows and things like that. But I'm pretty sure there's a lot of other stuff that would be considered important to an anime fan that I haven't thought of. Is there anything you guys can come up with off the top of your heads that would be important for an anime fan to be aware of or know about? Maybe some dates for those items if you have them? Thanks.

So I take it that nobody can think of anything that stands out significantly this year in regards to anime?

Hmmmm...the only "events" I can think are Conventions...at least here in America, and those are pretty much the big ones. Are you also looking for upcoming releases (such as next Fall's new anime), things in Japan (such as signings/appearances by VA's, animators, etc)? In other words: what type of events are you looking for and where do they need to be located (America, Japan, etc...)?

Well, pretty much anything of significance, be it releases, events, cons, etc.

Hmmm....well, I can't really think of anything important to me. If there was another season of Rozen Maiden that would probably be on my list, but I don't think there is (yet).

The second season of Honey and Clover is probably the most exciting thing for me, especially considering all the amazing reviews of the post-first-season manga chapters.
