I agree she'll definitely transfer it'll turn out she's some fiancée he didn't know about or something and it will complicate everything.

The way I see it, there are two possible explanations for this development.

1. This girl could be a childhood friend, which is scary considering she was able to recognize his completely unrecognizable self that not even Aki could tell. This indicates possible stalker/yandere qualities.

2. Less likely, this girl is a complete stranger who fell for him at first sight. Her words do not exactly imply that she is a childhood friend, but maybe a soulmate?

Well, if I'd have to pick .. maybe not to the extend of childhood friend, more of an acquaintance?

With family rivals Adagaki, perhaps.

How could it be anything else other than a childhood friend? Remember that he's been living with his grandpa ever since Aki broke his heart until the present. Unless...he met this girl while he was staying at his grandfather's.

Someone he met at the party or something? He was close to Adagaki after all, attending a few parties wasn't impossible.

Even if they know each other, it doesn't necessarily means childhood friend. Adagaki on the other hand, is more likely to be called his childhood friend.

I wonder. The only shoujo-ish is the MC getting references from shoujo mangas and act like the protagonist from those manga.

Well, other than that, It's perfectly shounen in my opinion.

This show is absolutely shonen. Generally, a good distinction is the perspective the story is told from, in this case from a male lead character.

I absolutely dig this show and am looking forward to seeing the upcoming chapters scanlated

... Darth Vader Aki is delicious. I can't help but giggle at her.

The Vader stuff surely came out of nowhere

BTW, did anyone else notice that in her flashback, there it was the soft implication that kid Aki already liked kid Masamune?

At the very least, it shows that she has some awareness of herself, even though her outer facade and ingrained reaction patterns prevent her from showing it.

I'm really looking forward to this, and I'm _glad_ that the show wasn't dropped by the scanlators, like I feared.
