I get the sense that Zafira has been summoned into a world of wolf-people, rather than a bunch of familiars, but I don't recognize the source.

Its a series called Dog Days. Think of it as Familiar of Zero without much of the drama and full of animal people.

Outside of the 'modern kid transported to fantasy world' thing it's quite different from ZnT. For one the main guy isn't trapped in an abusive relationship.

Dog Days is fun. I'm glad it's getting another season.
