My vote goes to NLA. They had the best editing and probably the best translation too (I don't speak japaneese, but it's only them and Saikou who have played the game).
Their encoding is decent, and will probably be even better since they will be re-releasing it with dvd-source soon. Most of the other groups I looked at seemed to suffer from poor editing (this is what I prioritize most, with TL close after). |

yeah, AE and AK... i don't really know how to judge, but i think someone pointed me to AE and AK, since i really liked this series, I DLed at least 4 different versions of the first ep, and AE and AK has better pictures...hmm, also i stick with ae and ak b/c their prologue has this artbook history thing that looked pretty cool.

I would say Seichi too, but they have only done episodes 1 to 4. Their encodes are a bit larger than the other groups, but also have the highest resolution (856x480), and the translation seemed fine when compared to other groups and the posts that were made here.

Tally yet another vote for A-E & Keep's version.
Better encode quality, and it still will fit on 2 cds, none of the others will be one CD anyway, so the slightly smaller filesize is mostly irrellevant. The translation quality in my opinion was the best, and I do have some Japanese knwledge, and I didn't think their editing was any worse than the other groups. I like the way Keep has started to end their series, with the snapshots of the series (and in this case the game as well) with the Japanese credits translated, followed after by the fansuber's credits. |

I am watching AE and AK's sub. The translations are awesome! But what annoys me is their English logo of Tsukihime in the opening credits as well as in the break scenes. The logo themselves are well done but since in the show, it was originally not there, it just doesn't look good. I think they should've just left the video as is and instead added their group names at the bottom like other groups do.

I watch the last ep from NLA first, although I do mainly stick to ae-keep, sometimes their phrases don't sound as good compared to NLA, really I usually stick with ae-keep but when another group releases ahead I download that one then the ae-keep later.
