Very very impressed with the production quality on the episode. Great animation and they ended the series with Hishoku no Sora. I'm a little disappointed that no one died, but they are kind of leaving it open for a sequel/the movie.

The movie decision makes a lot of sense to me - it explains why the series shifted from 26 to 24 episodes and how come things were paced the way they were near the end. I wonder if the movie's going to be handled by J.C. Staff and the TV anime's production team, or if they'll bring in another team for it? Are they planning for a fall release, I wonder? (Keep the buzz high as the DVDs are releasing?) Seems interesting anyway... definitely a way to end this TV run on a high note.

Oh well, TES: Oblivion will hold me over until some raws come out later tonight.

btw, did they address the silver tomogara issue? I bet they didn't. Hopefully it will be resolved in the movie or possibly in a second season. I hate when they completely forget about the fine details and previously mentioned events.

Awesome! I hope it receives a good "movie-ish" budget. From the review on your site, it sounds like the animation was excellent in the last episode. I hope they pour a good size chunk of cash towards the movie and really cap this series with a visual bang.

The episode was okay, I guess, but the very end

seemed more of a cop-out to me. While Shana's capacity as a vessel may be a bit believable, the fact that Yuuji just happened to have the Treasure that would save his life seemed a bit too cliche. I guess they needed a fully happy ending for everyone... especially since the novels are still going strong

I did like seeing Alastor fulfill his namesake as his manifestation embodies the idea of the Samvarta-Agnih, a cleansing fire which consumes the world. The part about Hecate being just an empty container was also nicely done, though they could've cut out on some of her Aquarion action <_<;

And last but not least, what was up with that "panty festival" (terminology credit goes to Moonphase) in the beginning -_-;;;

Well..... The anime is already far from the novel now , since they cut-ruined many plots-characters and details.
But it's good that none of the bad guys died in EP24 , so there is a chance for Second season too. (But don't hope too much.)

They can't do it because the novel still don't show us who this guy is.

And it's focus in the triangle love of Mathilde-Wirhelmina -Merihim too.

The other name does sound familiar, almost like I've seen it somewhere before....
