That was a fun episode. I really do feel sorry for Ayase, however. She was cute, even though quite a psycho at times.
What got me curious was the fact that he outright rejected Ayase by stating that he already loves someone. The curious factor is that he did not outright reject Kuroneko, but stated that he had to sort out his situation with his sister first.
That leaves to two possible conclusion to who he truly "loves" in a romantic sense.
1) Kuroneko, for obvious reasons. He knows she still loves him, and he has hinted at a possible future relationship.
2) Kirino, which would be the incest route. This is not my preferred route, since I'm not to thrill about incest possibilities. His reasoning for going on this route? Umm... because the story's title is about the sister? Nah, that reason does not justify it. If they are going to go about this route, they better explain it well.
The only reason that I can think of for why they would go with the Kirino route is because they already had a Kuroneko arc. Then again, the whole series is a Kirino arc, so that can exclude her as well.
I'm looking forward to the ending, as they will get to the meat of the story. And yes, Kirino has improved, but not to the point that she is likeable yet. She may be cute, but that does not overshadow her mostly harsh and wicked personality.

I thought this was established last episode. Kyousuke specifically stated that he will not officially date anyone until he settles things with his sister. Kuroneko has also implied that she will attempt to date him after he settles things with Kirino. Unlike Ayase (poor girl), he did not outright reject Kuroneko. He knows that he is not the one kept in limbo. It is actually his decision to make. He knows that as soon as he patches things up with Kirino, Kuroneko will try to charge right into a relationship with him.
Now, how the patching up with Kirino will end up will be interesting to see. Will Kirino want more than that? Will Kirino really be willing to give Kyousuke up to Kuroneko? I do hope we will get a resolution to it by the series end. And please, no "I'm going to be the perpetual bachelor" route for Kyousuke. I hate those types of endings, more so than I hate the incest route.

I think Kyousuke truly did like Ayase at some point. He would not have kept getting excited over her and saying all these things about her if he did not like her. However, the problem with Ayase was that she confessed too late. At this point, Kyousuke has figured out his feelings. He already has someone he loves (2 at this point). One, he loves Kuroneko, and two, he loves Kirino, although we are unsure if it is sisterly love or more than that at this point. It was just the wrong timing for Ayase, which is so very true so often in real life as well.
Also, I think Kyousuke did not know that he had a chance with Ayase at all until the end. She was always so aggressive towards him, that he probably truly believed that she hated him.
). She is pretty funny and cute. But her yandere side sometimes is creepy and her freaking out at otakus is not very nice.
