Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho

I made this thread for those who want to discuss this manga series.

Has anyone been reading it besides me?

If I recall correctly, there were a fair number of people who didn't have particularly good expectations for this one.

How do you reckon it has done so far, Miraluka?

It shows the events from the 12 Temples arc from the point of view of Athena and her saintias while Saga makes his moves against her way before even the Galaxian Battles started.

We can see how he begged to be punished before he lost to his dark side, we also get an idea of why the saints in the sanctuary were solo loyal to Saga.

And we also see that Athena's side had also strong allies like the silver saint Marin and Peacock Mayura who just curbstomped 2 silver saints and a saintia at the same time without working a sweet.
We also see more depth to characters like Aphrodite and Death Mask though the latter still is a huge bastard to my eyes.

Current events:

Shoko, Mii and Xiaolin are training with Aquila Marin who can single handed curbstomp them.

Saga the Pope summons the active gold saints and after saying that the saints he sent failed to fight Saori Kido and his allies it's time for them to fight.

Gold Saints present:

Aphrodite, Shura, Death Mask, Milo, Aioria, Mu, Camus and Aldebaran.

Afterwards Milo feels something is off.

At the same time the coliseum is shown to be in ruins and Tatsumi feels scared and warns Saori, she still shows her will to fight and meets with Shun, Seiya, Shiryu and Hyoga who are about to go to the Sanctuary to meet the Pope.

PS: Yes, Shiryu is already blind by this point.
