I really think her Iris shows her what she's concerned about, like Koyuki's. Like Koyuki has to think about what she's looking for in order for her Iris to show who is qualified, the new girl has to have something in mind to see probabilities.

However, whether she was looking for love remains to be seen. There are other possibilities. As someone mentioned before, it could be a repeat of the first chapter where Toru was just being asked to help with something, but the way the girl worded it was misleading.

Man, I thought I would pass on this one but I just couldn't do it. This latest chapter is a huge disappointment with only a few pages and cliffhanger.

This is exactly the point, if it does show the love compatibilty between two people than love compatibility is a feasible Iris power unlike having an Iris where the love compatibilty is centered around the girl

However based on what we have seen in the recent chapter the percentage only appears on a single person and since Koyuki is not shown to have a percentage around her yet, while it is not impossible I find it highly unlikely.

Irises can be directed, like Koyuki's. Maybe she has hers set looking for man. For herself. Of course, it may be completely something else. (In fact, at this point, I don't think he has 100% love compatibility with anyone, so it's probably something else. But in the absolute, there's nothing absurd about a love compatibility iris. It's no worse than a job compatibility iris.)

So what studio do you guys hope would adapt Iris Zero if it ever happens in the future? KyoAni was the first thing that came to mind, but somehow I just can't see it happening. AIC would probably be my second choice.

KyoAni again? I support AIC, while JC and Deen are pretty much either hit or miss.

That is a lot of dialogue. I'm going to be less accurate than usual because of this.

lol, you're not kidding when you said drama.

The gist is that after Yuki's talk, Toru is now way more sensitive of Koyuki's reactions to his conversation with this girl, who is really clingy. He refuses to help when he notices Koyuki's look from her holding his arm. She asks him what kind of Iris he has, because it must be something helpful right? He's 100%... of something! Koyuki tries to cover for him, but he reveals himself immediately as an Iris Zero.

Completely opposite to their expectations, she finds this amazing. He is totally confused. She wants him to teach her what it's like. He refuses and goes back to the topic - since she's dirty from her knees down, he guesses that she must be looking for something. She finds that guess amazing too. He continues to rebuff her, and she declares that nobody else but him can help. She then describes her Iris.

Her Iris can show "certainty" in things. She's looking for something, so the higher the number, the more likely she'd find something related to what she's thinking of (I guess that makes her a stronger version of Koyuki). She finds that he is 100% capable of finding what she's looking for.

Toru asks what she's looking for, she tells him it's a pendant. (Why Toru thinks the shadow is an inspiration is unknown.) He asks Koyuki to look at him and tell him if he's the right person to find the pendant. He's not. He trades numbers with her with the promise to tell her if he finds it. The girl introduces herself as Rei Hoshimiya.

After she leaves, he notes that her hands were cut up from searching, but her nails are fine.

Koyuki says he's acting strange. She goes through Toru's lies and says that he looks troubled. (Well, now he is.) She offers to help him, and asks him whether she's missing something. He tells her that it's pointless to look for something in the dark, which she says is also a lie. She once again offers to help or to talk about whatever's bothering him, and then...

He blows up and tells her that she has no idea how he feels and shouldn't put words in his mouth, and to leave him alone.

"Dammit, why did it turn out like this?"

Toru needs people skills.

So who in this thread was asking about yandere Koyuki again? Because this is where I start laughing at the possibilities.
