Damn. She never precisely grew on me, but now that she's gone, I already miss nice Hilda.

The "twist" wasn't precisely hard to guess - at least, that's the first thing I'd have tried to get out of having to tell Oga he had to kiss Hilda.

i don't think we lost the dere-dere Hilda remember what Isabella said in the flashback that Hilda supressed her own emotion to do her job perfectly she hasn't allowed herself to put love toward her master like a robot

The ending to the arc was highly predictable (I knew it would be Be'el giving the kiss as soon as they mentioned it), but it didn't stop the chapter from being hilarious. This series really is doing everything right. Doesn't drag things out unnecessarily and manages to keep the humor firing fast.

Agreed, this Moe-Hilda arc has been somewhat rather predictable but did not stop it one bit from being absolutely great fun!

Great to have my old Hilda back but Moe-Hilda will be missed

Still wanting my twin to fill in that role.
I do think we'll see some "lasting effects"(some small subtle stuff at least) it would be one of them rare times where "lasting effects" in a shounen series is welcome

You have to fear for the world now cause if Oga ever kisses Aoi-chwan~ I can see it imploding

Love how the class comes together when they have a common goal

Er... the pun here is a different one. What Beel did was called "dowsing" - to locate Hilda.

Dowsing - Dabu-sing

Sounds very similar
