I usually don't care for the Force Next artwork too much, just seems off with the vacant face.

No, but the principle still stands. You can only print X number of pages, so you have to decide what to put into it. Nanoha's loss of relevance has a lot to do with this too. They just don't sell magazines like they used to, so why waste money and pages when you can instead print something far more attention-grabbing?

If the Section 6 in Force can not handle the Huckies, then this one CAN overcome them. Crossover with Madoka Magica.

EDIT 1:
1. Heck, I wanna see Kyouko vs Arnage. Long red hair? Check. Skimpy appearance? Check. Fiery personality? Check. Whoa, whoa, whoa! Does this mean an expy? I can imagine if they both fight similar to the Erza Scarlet vs Erza Knightwalker from Fairy Tail.

2. Cypha vs Sayaka. The battle of high regenerative powers.
3. Homura vs Veyron and Deville. Heh, I want to see both of their expressions when they feel the Homura's ability to manipulate space and time. Za Warudo, of course!

4. Mami and Charlotte vs Stella. At first we see Veyron punch the victim's head. Now imagine if one of them feel the pain of Mami Chomp and Tiro Finale Combo.
5. Madoka vs Curren. The owner of Silver Cross vs The Goddess of Magical Girl. I put my money on Madoka, because Curren and the other Huckies must feel the anger of the Goddess. Plus, the troll of the Kyubey.

EDIT 2: If Madoka and the others offered the AEC equipment, I hope they say "Screw those AEC equipment junks! We have Soul Powers!". If magic in Nanoha-verse could not resist Eclipse power, then Madoka-verse's magic can do it, because the mana they have created from fluctuation of emotion. Page claimed for First Law of Thermodynamics, of course!

The "resting her wings" bit in one of the early Vivid chapters. Coupled with Shamal's warning that Nanoha needs a break or else she could potentially die from magic misuse, I imagine she's not taking on her full work load. She still goes into work, but probably doesn't do any major fighting.

Chapter and page. Because I don't remember such thing. Shamal's warning was about right now and then and about injuries suffered in Cradle - and Nanoha totally ignored them in most dangerous time of half year after battle to teach Forwards more. Why would she stop working after that if she refused while it was really dangerous?

Ah... Very unclear one. Especially because both Strikers epilogue and later chapters of Vivid show that Nanoha is still member of Instructor Corps. So it's not exactly clear how she "put her wings to rest"... or maybe it was meant as "not in frontline unit" but after that incident Nanoha wasn't in frontline units most of the time with RF6 being exception not a rule.

I think Vivio and Nanoha conspired to tease Fate senseless, kinda like they did not telling her about Vivio's Adult Mode. Vivio is Nanoha's daughter, after all.
