Well this game sure was fun. The main bosses are actually challenging compared to previous installments in the series, even considering the Final Mixes, which I had the luxury of playing recently as well. And of course, I'm buying this again when it comes out in English.

I'll do that right now.

It's much better than mashing the attack button during the course of the entire game to say the least.

The shoulder buttons are for rotating the camera, which can't be helped given the lack of a second stick. L and R together lock on to targets, and then pressing either of them will cycle through the enemies in range. L and R again will cancel lock.

Cycling through the deck is the D-pad, just up and down. It's actually not all that difficult to get used to cycling while moving around or even attacking once you get the hang of it.

Pressing the right button on the D-pad gets you to the D-link list, pressing left brings you back to the commands. Shoot locks are triggered by holding down L and R while locked on to an enemy, then pressing Circle.

Can you not save the finisher for a better timing and go back to normal attacks? Or do you have to do it then and there or it'll be lost?
The combo bar fills up every time you hit an enemy with a regular attack, Keyblade technique, or magic. Generally if you just attack, when the bar fills up you'll be allowed to use the finisher that is currently equipped. If it's the finisher, you have until the bar empties completely to perform it, so you don't have to use it immediately, but you shouldn't waste too much time.

Activating command styles is based on if you used other commands to fill up the bar. Fire related magic activates Fire Blazer, Blizzard and Freeze starts Diamond Dust, Thunder gets you into Thunder Bolt, etc. And if you use a combination of lots of different types of commands, the style that is chosen is based on which type filled up the bar the most.

And then there's second tier command styles, which of course are activated in the same manner, except that it's done while in a first tier CS.

I think MX's voice in the english version is much more memorable because of his unique..tone ?
Anyway, I've tried BBS at last, but I still can't understand how to learn some finishing moves >_>; There are many that won't got increased their exp no matter what I do

Ah the famed actor of Luke Skywalker and VA of The Joker eh?

I am intrigued to hear which character he will be voicing. All my bets toward that it'll be Vanitas. =p

Unknown at this point. More people are guessing Terra or Master Eraqus though.

English Gameplay of all TAV

Terra sounds alright. Since the press release goes ( Mark Hamill - ??? Willa Holland - Aqua, Jesse McCartney - Ventus.) I'd like to assume Hamill is Terra based on a TAV order. That, and we'll probably get an actual english trailer at the upcoming E3 in a week.

lol i wish this game would hurry so i can beat it and get my OC's personality etc etc 100%. hard to go by what i hear without too many spoilers. so far he's pretty much the Axel of the team (but not really axel clone) but he does say "got it memorized?" before he dies

Long ass wait is long. Sure I have Persona 3 Portable, and BlazBlue Continuum Shift to work with in video games, but when a company says 'Summer 2010", and with placeholders all around from June-July you assume August at the latest instead of a procrastinating excuse of "September 22nd being the real end of summer." ugh.

Yeah i'll agree that Terra doesn't sound that bad, along with Aqua. Though i'd rather be playing the game hearing Megumi Toyoguchi.

Only a few months wait. Great to hear that the EU release date is just a few days behind.

The design kind of reminds me of Asch/Luke from Tales of the Abyss, I like his ducktail hairdo, but don't necassarily enjoy the fur on his coat, other than I'm loving those fine legs you gave Aqua.

I forgot to add also that the part after "Behold" was taken down of the NA site. To those who still oppose Nimoy as MX you might be more satisfied now with knowing that the line was indeed an earlier recording used for the teaser.
