'gotta keep running!'

marvelous maximilian's day was going from bad to worse.

First, the rumor of any boy crossdressing if they surrenedered had spread around the school earlier today.

Second he had to hide out with five other males in an abandoned classroom when he suddenly found his class grinning and pointing weapons at him in the middle of his lecture.

Third was the fact that he had been separated from the others and forced to run for his life with rabid students chasing after him.

All in all you could say that this day completely sucked for him.

"i'm a teacher!"

"don't listen to him!"

'you're shitting me right?'

maximillian had been running and hiding for the past hour or so, and so far, he hadn't seen any of the others.

'they're either hiding out or god bless them the've already been taken. Either way i have to find a way out of this.'

the effects of the constant running were already beginning to take effect and his breathing became noticeably more ragged.

'i got it!'

an idea suddenly popped into his head.

"hold it!"

with a loud yell he had stopped running and turned to face the crowd.

The group of females, most likely in surprise, stopped their assault and stood silet.

"i'm the one in charge of repairing your units, if you don't let me go then you'll find yourself with broken units come next week!" he yelled out towards them.

'i hope this works'

ehhhh~ that's so mean sensei!

"sensei's so unfair~"

"what a killjoy!"

'it's working!'

luck seemed to be on his side, it look's like he'll get out of this pride intact after all.

"hello, this is your student council president speaking."

or he would have if fate wasn't out to screw with all of them today.

"i just want to announce a new rule to the game: Whoever manages to make the target surrender can make them do whatever they want for the next day. Thank you."

time seemed to stop after her announcement, but eventually the girls looked at him with huge grins on their faces.

'oh crap!'

with the announcement that had just been broadcasted his threat had been labelled moot, having no other choice, he continued to run for with his pride on the line.

'what is the kaichou planning? That announcement just made things ten times worse.'

maximillian knew he wasn't going to last much longer, at this point he was either going to give up or collapse.

"over here!"

he suddenly felt a hand take hold of his and pull him towards a room, before he could thank the person who saved him a hand suddenly covered his mouth.

"mmmpmmmph!"

"quiet! Don't let them hear you!"

he took that as his cue to stay silent until he heard all footsteps pass by.

"..."

"..."

"looks like their gone."

the hand releasing it's hold on his mouth, he turned around and found himself face to face with rachel browning, the second homeroom teacher of class 1-2.

"br-browning-san? What are you doing here?"

"saving your ass that's what, now come on, we have to go."

"go? Go where?"

"the command room, you'll be safe there."

he heaved a sigh of relief as he followed her, it looks like the nightmare's over.

"get inside, i'll keep watch."

"t-thanks browning-san."

"don't thank me yet, just get inside."

without an ounce of hesitation, maximillian stepped into the command room.

"hey! What's up max?"

and in doing so he had sealed his fate.

"k-karon!?"

standing in the command room was gou karon and the rest of the squad. Normally this wouldn't be odd but today has been anything but normal.

"wh-what are you doing here? There's no missions or anything right?"

"well~ there is one mission."

"o-oh?" he felt nervous all of a sudden. "w-what mission would that be?"

"to make you crossdress of course"

"you too!"

he felt shocked, more than shocked, he felt betrayed.

"yup! It looked like fun so i thought i'd tag along." she grinned innocently at him.

"erika, riselle, tio! Say something to her!" at this point his desperation had reached it's peak.

"don't look at us, we've been trying to stop he all day." riselle answered in a bored tone.

"that's right, karon-chan wouldn't stop no matter how much we talked to her."

'i'm doomed!'

"now~ should i pick the pink yukata or the red one? What do you think maxi?"

Another image pops up next to the armored figure.

"There, I think that's how. But what the hell's a 'Silverback Spark'?" I asked.

"Seems to be the power source." Ratchet looks more into the disc.

"Wow, it's actually the very core of the armor. Hey, who would've thought that Magnus had a taste for the whole 'crazy-cyborg technology'? I almost admire that. But according to the disc, the Silverback's location is where we least expect it..."

Silverback's capabilites.

The Silverback combat armor works in a similar fashion, but without the wrist mounted rocket launcher and the helmet's invisible to show that there's a human in that armor.

I can see why they call the armor a Silverback, but I'm not entirely sure how you'd portray it in combat against an IS. It's definitely not on the same level--you'd have to force a battle wherein it's one IS versus a bunch of Silverbacks...

Location: Air ventilation system.

'What the hell is Sarashiki planning?'

Irish had just heard the announcement from earlier and needless to say he wasn't very happy.

'Does she get a kick out of us getting put through shit or something?'

Irish was probably the luckiest among all the guys in the room, his small physique allowed him to enter the ventilation system while everyone was distracted.

'Wonder if the others got away?'

Normally he wouldn't have cared but the fact that they were being forced to crossdress (something he had to much experience in to be completely honest) had evoked some measure of worry from the pale skinned boy.

'This ventilation system should allow me to-'

"K-Karon!"

'Huh?'

He turned to the right and saw through some gaps in the vent that Maximillian was standing in front of Karon's group.

"Wh-What are you doing here? There's no missions or anything right?"

"Well~ there is one mission."

"O-Oh?W-What mission would that be?"

"To make you crossdress of course!"

"You too!"

'Looks like Maximillians screwed at this point.'

"Now~ should I pick the pink yukata or the red one? What do you think Maxi?"

'Better get out of here before-'

"Karon-san"

"What is it Celeste?"

"Forgive me for interrupting but there's somebody in the ventilation system."

'Shit!'

"Hm? Then get them and drag them out please."

"As you wish"

Before Irish could react, a huge metallic hand smashed through the vent shaft and dragged him out.

"AAAGH!"

"Irish-kun, Good of you to join us."

Irish looked up from the floor and saw Karon grinning from ear to ear with some kind of headband on her hand.

"..."

"Giving me the silent treatment again?" She pouted. "Remember the time we slept on the same bed?"

"Sh-Shut up! I wasn't myself back then."

"You wouldn't stop calling me Mistress too if I remember right."

"I said I wasn't myself back then!"

"Eh, Either way I have the perfect costume for you."

Irish looked closer and saw that she was gesturing to a (Very skimpy) maid outfit along with the head band she was holding that contained cat ears.

'Hell no!'

With surprisingly fast speed he grabbed a canister from his suit and tossed it to the ground.

*BANG*

Blinding light filled the room and Irish ran towards Maximillian before dragging him away from the room.

"What are you doing!?"

"Saving your ass!"

The odd pair continued to run and eventually they managed to find another abandoned classroom.

Irish took a second to compose himself before making his way to another air vent.

"Wait! Where are you going?"

"The air vents, it's the easiest way to stay undetected."

"What about me?"

"Do whatever you want, just make sure not to get caught."

With that final message he hopped into the air vent and disappeared

Location: Hangar bay.

"What do we have here?"

Irish scoured the ventilation system until he found something of interest.

"Looks like the hangar bay, this could be useful."

Irish dropped from the vents and looked around him, there were multiple units in storage but it looked like some were taken away.

'Need to find it.'

Irish scoured around till he found what he needed, the mainframe computer.

'If I can hack this thing then I can disable the units for a while.'

Irish made his way to the computer and started typing a decryption code.

"What are you doing?"

A girl who could best be described by the term biker was standing there with a questioning look on her face.

"..."

"I asked what you're doing."

"..."

Irish continued to type and ignore her questioning.

"Hey!"

She made her way towards him and grabbed his hand.

"You're not supposed to be here."

"..."

Irish didn't reply and simply grabbed his knife before swinging it at her.

"Is that a knife! What are you doing here?"

"...None of your business."

He turned back to the console and continued to type in the code."

"Enough!"

Irish jumped away from the console as a huge metallic fist nearly smashed into it.

"I don't know what you're doing but stop it!"

She was dressed in one of the IS units equipped for suppression, they were meant for non-lethal takedowns against human opponents.

"If you don't stop then I'll have to make you!"

"Try it."

Irish ran behind the wall as she fired the assault rifle equalizer at him, the bullets were non-lethal but they still packed a punch.

He saw one of the machines on the other side was emitting smoke and he got an idea.

"Hey over here!"

He threw a chaff grenade at her to temporarily disable her sensors and kept running running towards the smoking machine before rolling behind it.

"I can still see you without the sensors!"

'Hope this works!'

*Ratatatatatata*

The assault rifle fire continued to hammer the machine until it finally exploded in a burst of smoke.

"Where are you!"

Smoke had covered the entire area, normally this wouldn't be a problem but without her sensors it became near impossible to see.

'Now!'

Using the enhanced eyesight he received from the skull suit he made his way behind her before jumping on top of her unit.

"Let go!"

She started to shake her unit left and right but he held on and stabbed the shield as hard as he could.

*Crack*

The knife burst through the shield and before she could react he punched her straight in the gut and knocked her out.

'Leaving the chest exposed was a stupid idea.'

Irish knew he was lucky she was only using a suppression unit but if he was careless he would have lost.

"Now to get back to th-"

"Woah~ Quite a mess here eh Tatenashi-senpai?"

"That's right Karon-chan, I think the person who did this should pay don't you think?"

Standing on the entrance of the hangar doors were Gou Karon and Tatenashi Sarashiki, their smiles hiding a latent sadistic intent.

'Fate's screwing with us today isn't she?'

I'm using a 153k dial-up connection, it's cheap (4 US$ a month) compared to 2M broadband (US$ 25.5 a month).

That's not accounting the processing speed of steam powered computer of mine, which is ancient beyond belief.

Hence Video streaming is simply impossible.

(You may wonder what I mean by steam powered, and that I'm joking, but it's true)

But I do some research a little and yes, they're unable to match I.S. at any rate, unless it's a cramped space and there's plenty of them.

All I have to say is that there's too little information about the Silverback to judge. The only major things that're known about it are the core (Silverback Spark), and it's mobility on the ground.

Nothing's known about it's armor/defenses, weapons, flying capabilites, ect. right now.

@ Jak here's a little information based on some movie reviewer

"Accelerator suits," which allow the G.I. Joe squad to run faster, jump super-high, smash through walls, and shrug off bullets.

They're similar to what I propose to Eratas
