-Even if among the Fire Sisters Karen stands out, Tsukihi is not better. In fact, if you think Tsukihi is easier to deal with, you've fallen in her trap. Even though Karen and Tsukihi are both stupid, Tsukihi is also bright.
-While they were in elementary school, to save Karen from some kind of pinch, Tsukihi jumped down from the rooftop of the school building without hesitation. She fell on the canopy of a truck parked below, with just some broken bones and some scars.
-Araragi, Tsukihi and Karen are used to be half-naked right out of a bath. In this 21th century there was no way a slapstick development like being suddenly seen naked by a female classmate could happen.
-Araragi regretted how things went with Shinobu, but it was not the best time to talk about that.
-Araragi says he wants to be that kind of enigmatic character that makes people wonders about what he is doing when he is alone, but Tsukihi replies that one who is alone doesn't have people who says that to begin with.
-The three things Araragi understood from the bathtowel incident: 1) there are times when even Hanekawa screams 2) Hanekawa can scream very loudly 3) his parents sleep like a log.

-Araragi says that Oshino wouldn't have saved Karen, and he performs an imitation of him: "I won't help you. You have to save you by yourself, miss". Hanekawa wanted to hear the imitations of the others too.
Senjougahara's imitation: "Oh my, thinking about it, I am wasting time by teaching you how to study. If I converted this loss in money it would be about 200 million yen. Do you get it? It is an amount you will have to live for 200 million years to earn"
Hanekawa understood from this the kind of things Senjougahara tells to Araragi.

-When Karen says she was just doing aerobics, Araragi tells her that in the anime ending she can dance alone. Karen replies that if she were to dance she wouldn't stop at the ending, she will continue to dance for 30 minutes.
-Araragi states he doesn't feel a thing from seeing Karen naked, for she is his sister.
-Unlike the anime, in the novel Karen on the bed barely moves her body (she doesn't try to bite him), that's why she has to ask her brother to do everything.
