On the other side, I'm surprised that S2 managed to made the females more-- charming.

Action is pretty solid so far, but they need to tone down the CG camera. Made certain scenes look like a glorified commercial.

Well i think they are tring to attract more the "male" public, previous season was full focused only o bishies, with some seri ass shots like here and neko being naked for like half of the serie, now they looks like are trying to balance to give girls more "screen time"

The first season was more about "fujoshis" with all the BL vibes, maybe now they will trying to balance more.

if you watched the movie then we still have a "maid ninja" to appear and if i'm not wrong still also have one more new female to appear to a total of 6 females (seri, neko, kukuri anna and 2 green girls)against 999999999 bishies.

The opening scene was just incredible, even if all the camera movements made me feel a bit dizzy. You can tell they're trying to make the fights as impressive as possible, and so far they're succeeding.

I haven't watch the movie but from what i gather from the 1st episode of the 2nd season:
*Anna becomes the new Red King of Homra.
*Reisi, the Blue King, is also losing his powers just like Mikoto last season.
*The new Green clan, Jungle, is introduced this season, whose causing trouble to both the Red and Blue clans.
*Meanwhile, Kuro and Neko are still searching for Shiro, who is still alive.

Hopefully, this season might show the other color clans including female members.

You got mostly the gist of it. The Green Clan was actually introduced in the movie and are the main villains there. You might want to watch it still because it introduces the character that Kuroh was looking for named Yukari, who's sure to be important this season. It also introduced the Green King as well.

Also they tell why Reisi's sword is cracking and also that status of the Gold Clan and the Gold King and why Weismann has been hiding out.

the blue
the red
the golden
the green
the silver
the colorless and one missing which could be black or other color.

Gold King's dead, making him the first king to die of old age.

It's 7 kings, the only one we haven't seen or heard from is the 6th King, which I believe is the Black King based on Kuroh's explanation and example in season 1:



The last color that we haven't seen is represented by a bottle of black pepper, so I have to guess the color there is black, not purple, so the missing king we haven't even heard speak of yet, is the Black King.
