Blade looked evil as fuck this chapter, also it seems the Angel did not have the shield of Aegis power, confirming they have different movesets. Also if Blade got all of Gido's fragments and the Angels sets of powers, we are looking at strongest person in the series.

Also I doubt Cruz could do anything to Blade unless he received another power from AnN. Also I wouldn't say Blade is the bad guy, well at least that he needs to be stopped. This could be just a means to a end, even when Blade thought he was the strongest thing in the world all he did was just lay about the church.

Just to be extra crispy clear Blade was under attack by the angel just like everyone else, but because of shield of Aegis those attacks weren't effective so it's a bit early to conclude Blade is/has turned evil and should be dealt with(if that's what you were thinking).

Was an interesting chapter ....but there is something I noticed ,is it just me or in the last page Blade has a mustache?Ok , maybe is only the shadow....still I could swear that he have mustache.

In the state Saten and Gido are right now, even if they regenerate as I think they will, what difference would that make.

I'm not saying Blade has turned full evil, but no one can't ignore the fall to depravity he underwent since he was born, from a pure child to a powerhungry monster who doesn't care for his comrades nor for the serious consequences of his actions (he just declared war on an entire especies!!)

And this is the last straw of his corruption. If Blade doesn't attack Eve next chapter in order to retrieve back Doppelganger, if he still reatains even a bit of sanity, I'll be surprised.

The contrast of the double pages is also to be noted. The first time was to protect himself and Yamada from a Testament. This time it was to defend himself but also to gain more power.

I don't know what's going to happen from here on, since after this developments I don't have the heart to make long term predictions anymore as the unpredictability of this manga greatly overwhelms me. But something I know. This won't end well for Blade. *points at Adam Neuschwanstein's collar*

I don't think Blade has flew off the deep end just yet, we have seen in previous instances Blade does care for his comrades, they are just a after thought. Blade has always looked vicious when he is on the attack, the guy is just naturally scary.

Dunno what this will lead to, but due to having business to do with Yamada and Kasumi I'm pretty sure Saten and Gido are far from being done for.

Naturally something is going to happen. What Blade did bears some similarities with the Adam from the bible and his fall to depravity. Let's just say the fruit is the Angel.

I was also said in the Bible was that Adam was unhappy with his first wife(Lilith) and created another, ArcSatan could be a reference this with how he disposed of Riru.

I also agree, there is far to many answers to let this be the end of ArcSatan and Guido.

Also I didn't think ArcSatan and Guido would preform this poorly, I guess they really were holding out for the last stigmata. Also this Angel could simple be much more powerful then the Second Christ.

Yup, I can see 17 being the final chapter too, especially since it'll end at right around the 10-year anniversary for Needless (I believe it began in November 2003). Wouldn't that be a great way to close out the manga?

Yes, but I suppose Imai will start the second part of the story with volume 18 instead of start it from a volume 1 again as a way to remind the reader that Needless comprises both parts. I'm saying this because of the timeline.

That was no accidental little forehead bump. It looks like Blade made good on that demand to take a nap together. Poor Cruz.

Also, Arka and Cruz had a 'matched set' of stigmata. While it was generally expected that it would be the case, at least to me, it felt good to finally guess something half way right in this manga for once.

I did find it interesting that the stigmata appeared on the back of the hand rather than the palm, though. Not sure why I was expecting it to be, however, now that I think about it. Just because that's where Mengroze had it burned?

We even got a few gag reaction panels out of it. A great way to head into the home stretch. But, I keep looking back to that page in chapter 50, and thinking it won't be a completely happy ending for Team Blade. Who knows, though. Maybe Imai Kami will just end it here and make the whole last volume gag 4 koma.

Also, while I'm thinking about it, it was also kind of interesting that Saten, the character to whom I attributed to know pretty much everything and to have planned ahead, doesn't seem to have suspected Yamada as having the final piece of the puzzle. Seriously? I guess that rules out one reason he might have been looking out for him, but that just makes more questions than answers to me. Unless something changes for him and Gido soon (and it certainly could), Saten has made some serious miscalculations in his end game.

Blade's a bit rough around the edges.....and a lolicon but a powerhungry monster who doesn't care for his comrades? No way. What Blade did was the only way for him and his friends to survive. The entire world is already being bombarded with living edenseed bombs an Angel just got through who attacked everyone close enough as his first greeting and later on everyone indiscriminantly. Blade did the smart thing, let the Angel weaken his enemies and def/eat them all afterwards.

But now they'll have to figure out if there's a way to close the portal. Obviously Gido and Saten weren't exactly super motivated to find a way. But I'm sure another problem will rear it's head.

Blade personality was like that all the time, the biggest problem in my oppinion is Gido and Saten, thats was way too easy compare to all the plan and trickery they have made, i highly suspected that closing the gate might cause some problem to Blade body, leading to needless 2.

After reading the translation, now I can say safely Blade hasn't lost his sanity, just turned a bit more evil looking.

Anyway, regarding the most recent developments.
