Mami Kawada isn't a composer, is she? Last I checked, all the work was done by the I've Sound crowd whose names I don't remember at the moment.

Mami Kawada isn't a composer. The music for her single "Prophecy" was composed and arranged by Tomoyuki Nakazawa and Takeshi Ozaki though the lyrics was composed by her.
C.G mix, Kazuya Takase, Maiko Iuchi/Miu Uetsu, Tomoyuki Nakazawa, Atsuhiko Nakatsubo/FISH TONE and wata/NueroSocietia are the composers of I've Sound. If you have to choose one definitive figure of I've Sound, Kazuya Takase is your guy.

I can't think of many but for me, Yuki Kajiura hands downs. She produced amazing music for Puella Magica Madoka Magica, Sora no Woto, Sword Art Online, and Fate/Zero etc. She's truly an amazing gifted composer!

Despite decades of watching anime, Yoko Kanno is the only anime music composer who's name I both remember and revere. She's also the only anime music composer who's name being attached to a project pretty much means it's an instant watch for me; something I generally only do with a very, very, very small handful of directors/producers/screenwriters. Which seems crazy, considering the composer has nothing to do with the actual plot of a show, but somehow she's managed to almost always be attached to shows I really enjoyed (sure, a few misses, but almost overwhelmingly hits as far as I'm concerned).

I've often wondered if that means she doesn't just shell herself out to whoever pays her money and only takes on shows she personally enjoys story/theme/character wise. Even my favorite voice actors have done plenty of shows I wouldn't touch with a 30 ft pole.
