Grappler Baki (Where is it?)

Edit by Mod: There have been many requests (intentional or unintentional) asking when the next episode of a particular series is going to be released, or if the fansub group has stopped fansubbing the series. Since there isn't really an answer to such questions (and the fact it's very rude to pester fansub groups in this way), we request people not to make such inquiries.

If there are any posts making such requests, then they will be closed, deleted or simply merged into this generic "Where is it?" thread. Remember:

• Fansubs are provided for free. Therefore the fansub groups owe you NOTHING. Which means you have no right to demand anything.
  
• Fansub groups should be able to take as long as they feel necessary to release the next episode.
  
• Fansubbing takes time. It's not an instant process. It's amazing it usually only takes a few days for some anime, but don't complain when it takes longer. Remember, fansubbers have a life too.
  
• Before something can be fansubbed, it actually has to air first in Japan. So it's not very smart to ask why there aren't a whole lot more episodes yet.
  
• Most important of all: Be Patient!

  Do not ask when episodes will be released. They'll be released once the fansub group is finished with them. All your whining will do is irritate fansub group staff and make them leave the scene. And that will mean even slower releases or none at all. So just have some PATIENCE. Threads which break this rule will be deleted.

If there are subbed, then they're bootleg DVDs.
Not that I care about the legality issue, but it means the substitles most likely will be crap compared to the fansubs.

The Copy is better than Miyuki. Miyuki is too slow to redubbed.
We started distributing Grappler Baki II since Jan 2003. if you ever heard of
grappler baki ( name of the encoder ), which is my real encoder nick.

anyone know if thehawks is still fansubbing it or are there any other groups that have done the fansubbing for the later episodes? i know i'm not supposed to post when eps will be dubbed but i'm just making sure it they're still doing it cuz most are on to grappler baki 2. thnx.

well the hawks have it up to 21, some other group just started. as for the hawks, they seem to be more interested in rereleasing old episodes than subbing the new ones

Hopefully the eps will be fansubbed in the near future since it's been awhile since they updated season one of GB.

I have been waiting for Episode 23 for years now. Have they stopped to fansub Grappler Baki? Because then you should atleast take away it from this page.

Maybe a month, or two may have been going since i got the latest episode. I mean is there only 22 episodes. OR, is it 24 as animesuki says?

No they haven't stopped, they're just 'slow'. They have had pauses this long before.

There are 24 episodes of Grappler Baki. (and 24 episodes in the second season)
The Hawks had an update in december saying they'd finish Grappler Baki this year. (i.e. in 2003) But they didn't make their 'deadline'. (obviously...)

All I can say is: be patient, and watch some other anime in the mean time.

Yeah i know. I am watching other animes. But Grappler Baki was so diffirent then the other ones. So it was a little more fn to watch, plus, i want to see all Grappler Baki episodes before i start to watch Grappler Baki 2. If they have some sort of connection.
