So we have yet to find out which is actually true.
What im sure of is that Catarina as of now will not tell everyone that she is not actually her for a long time. So how does this even work? Why does this kind of genre work so well and becomes so famous? I have been asking these same question towards all the other "Isekai" and "Sekai" series. What is the name of this game again? She was connecting the dots between the game she was playing and what is happening to her as of that moment. It gives me the impression that as in she is trapped in a someone else's body, not transported into some other world. Unlike a character named Miles in a different series, this one seems she never intended to escape the world she lived in her previous life even though she was rather lonely as Miles. Wow, this Catarina's situation is actually depressing. |

Are we really going to argue semantics? This kind of possession is one kind of reincarnation anyways. It's the same kind of reincarnation that happens to that Yamucha tensei manga. It's used so much in other villainess novels that it's pretty much the standard and only once in a while subverted (for example by the original villainess rejecting the new soul but using the new knowledge for her advantage)

Of course we are going argue over semantics. You know that novels are made out of words, right?
Anyway this kind of reincarnation is indeed standard. "This kind" stand for literal reincarnation not possession though. There are occasionally some subversion but you argue whether not just generic work, but literal origin of whole sub-genre is subversive.

Any future contents are not allowed in anime adaptation threads in animesuki, you should delete that part.
edit: Anyways, all I am saying is to me this is a reincarnation genre where the MC takes the place of a character from a fictional work, really not expecting this much argument over it. I won't call it 'possession' if it bothers you (actually I wasn't the one who started calling it that) and agree with the proposed "I remember my past life memories and that changed my personality" type of reincarnation (even though for me that exact description also fits into the possession category).

And thus Bakarina got two more harem members, and both a couple, quite practical.
Seriously this anime is very good, as never read the manga before(i read a different villainess but seems this one was the original) is so funny. nice so far |

2nd Ep is more procedural then the 1st almost a literal cut and paste of the manga. Not like the great 1st ep, I wonder if they changed directors or something.
Good showing by the studio continues, but its hard not to win with this source material. Hope they get some moments of brilliance again like the 1st ep, going forward. It how a little difference in some creative touches can do to the storyboard, in making great animes. |

That was a lot of fun once again. Bakarina is really hilarious. All of this could have been adverted if she had asked, you know, her gardener for advice. Of course I wouldn't have had it any other way.
As I thought, Geordo is the one that will prove to be the most troublesome. She kinda asked for it, though.

Bakarina is continuing to derail the plot of this game. First she steals not only Alan's role with the other rival love interest, but said rival love interest ends up becoming enamored with her to begin with, and then she ends up taking the Main Heroine's job of repairing the relationship of the brothers well before it was supposed to happen. And the best part is she doesn't even know she's doing it .
Is it just me, or did one of Mary's sisters sound like Yukari Tamura ? Mary is such a sweetheart . Yeah, somehow I don't think the developers took into account the possible implications of creating a shallow villainous love rival in an Otome game would have on said character's life . Catarina thinks she has a naturally villainous face when it's really only like that when she poses it that way . Geordo and Alan are twin brothers? They look nothing alike . To be honest, I was more surprised Catarina could play the piano well then Alan. Guess some of that noble lady training is paying off . The Ending seems surprisingly serious compared to the Opening, but it does show off Catarina's Harem and the vast array of expressions of the lovely Bakarina .
