Lucy isn't weak. It's just that the people she hangs out with (Natsu, Gray, Erza) are insanely powerful.

^True, also in comparison to others she is self learner.

Also it looks like no one takes the key use for her power... if not fire, ice and weapon equipt, then Natsu, Gray and Erza would be far less impressive and powerful.

Her summons feed on her magic power, without her they would not be able to fight at all.

It would be nice for her to learn to use her whip properly, but otherwise she is not weak.

She's fairly good with her whip already; she just doesn't use it as much as I'd like her to.

Lucy is pretty strong especially with that Powerboost she got recently .... But yeah I agree Natsu,Gray or Erza would have no problem

Probably because using it more would be rather pointless.

i agree on that, Natsu and Erza are just too strong that made Lucy look like a weakling

Well guess it just matters on how Gemini's copy works. If Gemini can copy the amount of magic that Lucy has at her best state then in theory Gemini could help double Lucy's magical capacity. Lucy having such a good heart and the affect it had on Gemini should be big for her going forward.

It all depends, too, on if Gemini gets summoned or comes out on its own with its own magic. There are a few different summoning possibilities:

#1. Takes 100mp to summon one spirit, and it can stay out as long as it wants, based on the contract.

#2. Takes 50mp to summon, and drains 1mp per minute while out.

#3. Takes 50mp to summon, and also mp is spent whenever the spirit uses abilities.

If the spirit comes out on its own, then it uses its own MP pool. Not sure which one of these is more accurate for how summoning works in Fairy Tail, though.

I'd say #2 is the most accurate. Lucy uses her magic to call them over, they use their own magic to fight. Normally a high-class mage can forcefully close a portal, but apparently strong spirits can open one on their own too.

She has a nice character (really touchy).

She's becoming a powerful celestial mage most because she's getting better spirits and making stronger bonds between them.

What I like most are her spirits how they all have their own funny character like aquaria and taurus.

Oh ye and you can't look past her huge mountains of course xD

Well she's definitely a great character wouldn't be able to decide between her and erza.

I really like Lucy. I know Lucy is not the most strongest character in the Fairy Tail universe but I like her character and funny situations she gets into. I wonder if Lucy will ever get the Celestial King as one her spirits. If that's even possible in the first place.

though Natsu hasn't shown any interest in any girl since he hasn't been taught the Birds & the Bees yet.

I hope so. I like the Natsu and Lucy pair up. I really don't like Lisanna for Natsu. Also, Natsu does seem to be very interested in Lucy based on several chapters or omakes but I doubt we will ever get a chapter that will dedicate a real development of romance between the two.

What happened to her River of the Stars whip? I don't see her use it. But anyway, i can totally see her using Gemini well since they can basically copy the moves of anyone they see. It'd be cool to see her get some more silver keys. BTW, are they more than 1 silver key per spirit, or is it like the Zodiac where only one person can summon them? Cuz she said you can buy silver keys in stores, so aren't they pretty common then (like many mages can summon that spirit?)
