Yeah, it was Kadi, he started calling him in that in the summaries he wrote. I think he either forgot Voban's name or couldn't be bothered writing it down just then, so he called him Bobby. Pretty funny, actually, I still think of Voban as Bobby half the time.

Voban (I don't think this is the right way to spell his name though) seems to be a slavic name. Most Russian folks I know have so long and difficult names that we need to use the more common names (like someone name Stephapajinov ==> Stephan) to call them. I think his actually that kadi spells must be really long and complicated to write down exactly so he use Bobby instead.

I think it was Vorbourn or something like that. Good thing it became Voban.

In all honesty, I have no idea how Bobby's name is meant to be spelled. When I brought it up a few months ago, we decided on Sasha Dejanstahl Voban. I think. The Dejanstahl isn't used a lot so I usually look it up whenever I need it.

I've checked, it's Vauban. The campione of the Balkans' adopted surname is same as the title of the famous siege engineer and Marshal of France, Marquis Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban.

I have to admit that after reading the first volume -- this is actually pretty fun! The only thing I don't quite get is..

I also still don't quite get how Campiones are so revered and "higher" than the rest of humanity. With the money and power these organizations have.. I'm pretty sure they could snipe them with depleted uranium rounds or assassinate them with high yield body disintegrating explosives.. I mean if you're OK with massive destruction.. why not assassinate a Campione with a low yield nuclear explosive?

you won't become a campione(or usurp their authority) if you had someone do the fighting for you or someone was helping you during the fight(2 v 1 or so) so the second option was out and the first one... well... she knows she can't bend godou's choice at all after he said it plus athena's gonna ridicule her

and campiones have nearly indestructible bodies just like gods(probably) and some of them can be invincible or can just revive or resurrect again...

He was worshipped by the ancient Phoenicians. He's a king and deals with storms, weather, plagues, stuff like that. I think he can be related to Baal, just like Verethragna, and swings around 2 huge clubs. Throwing clubs. Homing throwing clubs. Homing throwing clubs the size of TREES. One is super-fast and flies in a straight line, the other is slower and goes in curves, too. And with them, he smashes Godou to a pulp. A dead, little pulp. You heard that right, in Vol 11 Godou dies. Big spoiler! (duhhh)

Spoiler: Based on Erica's personality, I'm surprised she didn't 1) force Gudou to kill Athena or 2) stab/kill Athena herself at that point and become a Campione herself..!
