Yea I try not to read the spoilers but sometimes I lose myself in the amount of thread this topic has. I was trying to find a thread on ep4 to bounce a comment on but somehow got lost.

Oh well, it's nice to have a lot of discussion though.
does anyone else get annoyed with the melodramatic music that always plays at the supposedly "climax" of each episode? I wish it'd just go away!

At first I found it sort of jarring, but I've gotten used to it. I was expecting something along the lines of the nonsense "Yamani" chants in Madlax, so the vocal-free classical music in Meine Liebe was actually a huge relief for me.

Speaking of music, has anyone else heard the full-length version of Meine Liebe's OP? I actually think it's so much better than the TV version, which I initially had a lot of trouble liking. For some reason the song just seems a lot softer and more pleasant when it's not truncated.

I actually liked the TV Version way better than the long version. I guess our opinions vary greatly...

Yeah, I like the TV cut better too <_< It actually started off pretty nicely with the whole "Kowasu koto ga hajimaru to iu nara". The full size version doesn't! It just loses that niceness a bit. I thought that line itself was sung very nicely and it's what helped me like the song...

I've just heard the full version! I think it's better in the way that it doesn't feel so rushed

I just didn't liked that piano thing at the end

Well, while everyone's waiting for 5, I watched a low-quality raw of 6, but I was kind of lost without a script, so I don't have any spoilers, farcical or otherwise.

But it is all about Issac, so MartAnimE should be happy.

And another tidbit -- no airship! The theory can continue...

Now for something else to fill the time between episodes -- announcing:

The Meine Liebe Dead Pool

An angsty dramatic series like this, someone's got to die, right? So it works like this:

Character's Name, Chance of being the first to die, Chance of dying in the series

- Orpheus, 0%, .5% (not bloody likely)
- Eduard, 10%, 14% (if only to send Orpheus into turbo-angst mode)
- Camus, 3%, 3% (if he dies, he dies first, but not likely)
- Naoji, 10%, 14% (if only to send both Ludwig and Orpheus into turbo-angst mode

)
- Ludwig, 0%, 33% (if he goes, it's in 12 or 13, and it will be to save Orpheus)
- Issac, 50%, 66% (he should get some shirt buttons to cover up that target on his chest)
- Beruze, 10%, 33% (I won't comment yet)
- Headmaster 0%, 3% (he might be accidently strangled by his own hair)
- "Erika", 33%, 50% (a girl with as many lines of dialogue as she's had can't last)
- The Countessa, 5%, 33% (why not, right?

)

Bonus points if you can guess the method or circumstance of death, of course!

As for The Meine Liebe Dead Pool, my guess would be something like this:

- Orpheus, 0%, 0% (he must become a Strahl so he can help the people; besides, he is THE main character)

- Eduard, 0%, 0% (he might not become a Sthral, but he'll surely become the Viscount's successor just to piss off the countessa

)

- Camus, 0%, 0% (he can sense danger, so he'll never get caught in a deadly situation; besides, he has all the other Strahl candidates to protect him

)

- Naoji, 0%, 2.5% (he might very well die protecting someone, but if he does he'll meet with that japanese poet guy from episode 4 and return to japan with him)

- Ludwig, 0%, 2.5% (he'll only die if giving his life for someone else, problably Orpherus or Naoji)

- Issac, 50%, 50% (I really don't want him to die, I hope he doesn't

but it's almost obvious he will: he's not a Strahl candidate, he's older, and he's not as angsty natured as any of the other characters

if he does though, he'll have the most heroic death in the show)

- Beruze, 0%, 10% (he is a "bad guy", he must die

)

- Headmaster, 30%, 10% (Beruze might kill him to take control of the school, and he's old anyway

)

- "Erika", 20%, 20% (she'll die right when she's about to get married to Orpherus, shortly after Ed finds out she's his long-lost sister, quite the tragedy

)

- The Countessa, 0%, 5% (she is also a "bad guy", besides, she's kinda old too

)

Episode 6 bitorrent isn't up yet but I'm sure it will be soon. Shining Fansubs Bitorrent page is still down but they are using the scarywater tracker right now.

The OP was released as a track on can/goo's album "Kokoro no Uta". We can't tell you where to get it from.

The ED isn't out yet... but I can't wait for it either! I somehow just like the OP and ED even if they aren't perfect and not exactly the kind of song I usually like

after this one I'll be antecipating even more Sir Isaac's episode, but then I'll have to stop spoiling the series
