I was so gonna go to sleep before midnight but the YouTube subs kinda screwed me over on that plan.
Leaving aside comments on the actual episode until I'm a bit more awake (save that it was great) I noticed something about the ED (well, other than the obvious). You know at the end, the part of the song that goes Suki da yo... nakeru yo... suki da yo... suki da yo... and it's all three of them singing together, right? And then after that it just ends. After I noticed I went and checked. Episode 20, 18, and 17, all were like that. This episode included the extra "Suki da yo" from the full song at the very end, the line sung by Kugimiya Rie alone. Kind of obvious implications there but I really need sleep right now so...

Ahhhh that was an awesome episode. The fight scene, and the confession... (too tired to make a coherent comment)... Mmm can't wait for further development. I have thrown off all belief about previews; I was so sure this episode would've been a rather eventless one. Man, was I wrong.

Let the Bloodfights begin... the 2nd Girlfight in the serie already Weird how comes there is no fight with Ryuuji, since he has a reputation of "Oni"?
jk aside a great episode, much drama and developement for the characters. Lucky guy, Ryuuji has 3! girls who likes him. I wish for a happy for all of them... |

Ah! One of the greatest ep ever! Voted 10!!!!
Ep was so emotional and so honest! I wonder what's on Ryuuji's mind? In fact all three girls are in love with him, but he really heard only one confession from Taiga, though Ami tried to say him the same thing! And he should have understood Minorin's feelings after MinorinxAmi fighting. I'm not actually fan of TaigaxRyuuji ending, and I feel so sorry for Minorin. I suppose Ami is mature enough to get out of this stuff) Can't wait for next ep. |

Man, the expressions in this ep by Ami and Minorin; I've never seen them look so filled with anger and hate before. I really enjoy this tension-filled moments, esp when Ami and Minorin were arguing. I guess that deep down, they're brooding because they feel/know that Ryuuji belongs to Taiga. Minorin now knows that Ami has a thing for Ryuuji. So now things are hitting a high note, with all the girls 'fighting' over him in their own way. Things should get REEEEEAAAL interesting.

This episode, as is most of Toradora, is excellent. Here are some of my reflections and impressions on the episode:

Hell hath no fury like 2 women scorned! Anyway, I really like this ep...it felt like an ep where Ami and Minorin had a chance to shine...and by that I mean actually show genuine, unrestrained emotions. This only solidifies my beliefs that those two are as every bit complex as Taiga has shown to be. Can a guy actually love more than one woman/girl at a time? There needs to be more two-way love... |
