If they're softsubbed, then download the program mkvtoolnix and mkvextractgui.
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/MKVtoolnix. You'll find both downloads in that link. |

The mkvtoolnix package usually can be downloaded from your distro's package update thingy. If it's not there, then download and compile the source from the website. The dependancies look like libebml-dev & libmatroska-dev. mkvextract should be included in the mkvtoolnix package. As always, Google helps if documentation is close to nonexistant.
Arm, he's using a Linux distro. I'm not sure if you knew or not, since Videohelp links to mainly Windows binaries. EDIT: Wait, thr just made things more vague. Which KMPlayer? Last edited by Eviltape; 2008-05-25 at 07:30. |

KMPlayer can also refer to this, which has nothing to do with the KDE-based KMPlayer: http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/index.php.
And, just being curious, by "obtain", do you simply mean "to watch"? Are the subtitles not showing in KMPlayer or do you really want to extract them? |
