Is Orange Range singing out of tune in this video? (Asterisk, Bleach 1st opening)

I may be wrong but they sound like they haven't sung in a while in this live show video. I know they are trying to do harmony but it sounds like the voices aren't really blending. I thought their performance in the Asterisk MTV and the Bleach opening were much better.

lol, I can't watch groups perform live like that any more, I can't stop laughing at how silly they look with all the 'hip lolol' hand movements and rolling the head around and other trademarked 'fool' gestures.

And yes, you are right, they're singing badly out of tune.

I was pretty surprised. I truly suspected they were having a bad day, or one of them was sick or something. They're such talented lyricists, and their original Asterisk MTV was virtually flawless... and then here they are suddenly singing their #1 hit single in Japan out of tune.

That would be because it's a studio recording. Those are never indicative of live performances.

I think the anime version of Asterisk is much better, although shorter, than the original version. Whoever decided the track needed a revision was right.

I agree. The full version seems a bit slow. The anime version is more upbeating.

Orange Range

I've been listening to a good deal of orange range recently (read: Discography for 96 hours on end) and they're fairly good.

If your looking for good songs by them, I'd suggest:
Samurai Mania
Viva Rock
Chest
Kirikirimai
Locolotion
Onigai! Senorita
Hai! Moshimoshi
Winter Winter
Shuji Kimi
Monkey Magic
and Shanghai Honey

Any thoughts? :3

overrated mainstream group, OP and ED in Code Geass R2, Bleach AND Naruto ED/OP. How much more overrated would you want, lol . Also they plagiarize some of their songs from other artist without giving proper credit.

dunno why are they always so high in the oricon chart :-/

Orenji Renji.. alright, that's nearly a month ago, lol.

O2 is awesome none-the-less. Saw it on music station during my stay in Okinawa, that song was performed and I was so engrossed.

I agree with you. Orange Range stole some melody from other artist, then they mixed the melody into their song. Viva Rock is one of the samples.

I think it because most people didn't know about Orange Range's plagiarism.
