Aren has major spotlight on him.
Why? He is new and needs to be introduced.

Forwards and Hayate co. are shafted?
There is no development happening there. It's the usual life you can find enough in StrikerS.

Do not worry. Even that this is character implantion and introduction story, it will still be mostly about non-OC characters.

This was a minute in Sam's mind. Rest assure.

Another one shot chapter, but let me warn you. This is the last short chapter.

”Muhm...” A little girl hugged her pillow with a happy smile. . Her room wasn't much bigger than the one she had in RF6, even that this room was only for sleeping and dressing.

She rose up rubbing her forehead and climbed down from her bed before she dressing up in her light pink dress, she wasn't in RF6 at the moment so she didn't have to wear her dull brown outfit.

Quickly checking her appearance she ran out from her room for breakfast, which was held in the dull colored canteen. Even duller then the rest of the ship. ”Why can't they design these with colors other then gray and blue.” She pondered, walking towards the counter.

”What would you like young miss?” Erio asked from the other side of the counter, suprising the pink haired girl.

”E-Erio-kun...? What are you doing there?” She stuttered.

”I thought I should give them a thanks for their hospitality.” The boy answered. Erio was dependable, kind and always made her blush a little. She enjoyed her time with Erio. ”So, little miss, what would you like? We have fresh fruit, bread, pasta and the almighty energy bomb, a food that even wakes up even coma patiets, vomit looking military rations!” He advertised at Caro.

”I would like some fruits please.” She chuckled.

”Coming right up, Caro-jouchan.” Erio bowed and brought her two red apples. ”There you go.”

”Thank you Erio-kun.” She thanked before running to Subaru, eating bread far away from the counter.

”You'll make a fine butler one day.” Aren complimented his young discipline and continued cooking pasta.

”Thank you, Aren-j- I mean -sama.” He corrected midsentence.

”Ooh... So this is how much she affects you... Interesting.” The dark haired man took down before walking to the pot next to him.

Erio attempted to answer the man rationally but only ended up making the man laugh for his denial.

”Aren-san, you haven't been teaching my little boy in butlerism, have you?” Fate asked from the sides yawning.

”Why would you think that Fate-chan?” Aren denied smiling and scratching his head. ”Is there anything bad in it? Look how well it Caro-san took it.”

”No, no, there is nothing wrong in it. I was just thinking the same. Keep up the good work.” She answered approving his teachings with a thumb pointing upwards, making Erio turn red.

”Now I know what to get him next christmast.” Nanoha appeared behind Fate suddently hugging her. ”A suit. Don't you agree Fate-chan?”

Blushing from Nanoha hugging her and whispering in her ear she answered with very weakened voice: ”I-I do.”

”Hehee... You're such a toy in the mornings.” Nanoha took a quick bite from the blonds ear before letting her fall on her knees. ”I'll take the rations, please.”

”Get in line!” People from the counter yelled but were quickly repelled by Nanoha's mean gaze.

”Th-there you go Nanoha.” Erio said still blushing while offering Nanoha a tray with a plate full of disgusting mess.

”Thank you.” The brunette said before she jumped over the counter with one gracious leap.

”Why is my pasta losing to ´that´?” Aren pondered, looking at his cookings in doubt.

”I would like have some.” Fate asked now recovered from Nanoha's suprise attack.

”The line is here!” The people from the counter complained again this time repelled by both Fate's and Aren's glare.

”There you go, sister.” Erio offered a tray with plateful of pasta.

”I'm your sister only in books, in real life I'm your mother.” Fate pouted before she took the plate, thanked Erio and jumped over the counter joining Nanoha.

Erio had trouble calling Fate his mother as she was more like a big-sister, althought the main reason was that it was embarrassing for 10 year old to call 19 year old as mother, Fate, of course, didn't care about what people thought about this.

”RF6 personel are to get ready for departure to Mid-Childa. We will be arriving there in 20 minutes.” The intercom announced.

”You heard that.” Nanoha rose from the bench already finished her sludge.

”Alright my young discipline. Lets wrap this up.” Aren ordered removing his pink apron.

”Yes!” Erio saluted militaliry even that Aren wasn't his superior or even working for RF6.

”It was too short but we will meet again soon, brother.” Fate said, hugging Chrono.

”Don't push yourself too hard.” The blue haired man gave her sister a tight squeeze before letting her go.

”Take care.” He waved at his departing friends.

”See you soon.” RF6 replied and waved before teleported back to Mid-Childa. ”Back to work I suppose.”

With firm stance he walked down the corridors towards his usual place.

”Get me a call to Acous-san.” Chrono ordered, entering his command bridge.

”What's up Chrono-kun?” The green haired man asked.

”Got any info from non-administrative planet 65 or Selshins?”

”Nothing you don't already know. Non-administrative planet that has been fully covered by water for estimated 200 years showing clear signs of fairly advanced civilisation. No information about Selshins as nothing has excavated from the planet yet. There is a project to research it but it has lacked funding for quite a while.” Acous informed Chrono who had asked him for additional information as Aren was avoiding him. Acous was famous for his information gathering techniques even that he didn't have access to infitite library. How he did it was mystery to everybody.

”I see.” The blue haired man replied leaning on his arm in his command chair. ”Thanks, as always.”

”Your welcome, as always.”

Chrono had doubts about Aren and Selshins. People civilised as Selshins should have made contact with other planets or atleast recorded in some texts.

”Set course: Administrative planet 43.”

”So this was the almight pocket watch?” Shari asked dissapointed at losing not only the talking watch but the event of unlocking it as well. Only thing she had was a recording about it that only piqued her interest even more.

”Eh... Yes...” The suited man was somehow flattered. ”I was told here to get my device.”He searched the room, turning his head. For some reason Aren was loaded with money and already reguested a high-quality device from his helpers.

”Aah... That.” The engineer drawled. ”There on the desk. Say hi to Tason.”

”Thanks.” Aren picked up his device, which was propably because of Shari's vengeful nature a pocket watch in it's inactive state. ”It doesn't have CVK-792, right?”

”Nope.” She answered, shaking her head.

[Good day, sir.] Taison greeted his new master with a manly voice.

”Good day Tason. This also has two modes only, MVK-438 and MVK-534, right?” He continued questioning Shari.

”Yes and OVK-532.” She answered now confirming that Aren was expert in engineers, or atleast knew much about them, as he even knew the rarely used mode names, armored boots and gloves. They were outdated as people preferred weapons or staves instead. ”Why did you make the reguest with common names instead of those?”

”I wasn't sure you'd understand.”He explained isntantly, inspecting the watch in his hands.

”Ah, I see. And you're so much better engineer?”Shari questioned.

”It kinda caught up to me from my keepers.” Aren answered, clipping the chain from his device to the edge of his pocket. ”Glia Milenija and Mensa Sinapsa.”He grinned superiously at Shari.

Shari was amazed from hearing two respected engineer's names. Mensa was the one who made it possible for devices to talk and improved their frames. Glia on the other hand lessened the amount drained by devices making them possible for everyday usage, even for those that posessed nearly zero magical capabilites.

”You lived with those people?!” The engineer screamed in admiration and forgotten the previous conversation. ”Don't tell me you drained their minds too!”

”Uh... No, no, of course... not.” The dark haired man denied, turning his head away sensing a large wave of questions if he had answered yes.

”Hahaa... You did! I have lots of things to ask you.” She offered the man a seat. ”Where is Glia-senpai by the way? She hasn't shown up in a while. Locked up in her workshop for yet another breakthrough I bet.”

”Yes... She...” Aren recalled, hiding his eyes and scratching his head. ”She is indeed working in another project.”

”Oh... I see.” She sat in her chair in understanding. ”Make sure to welcome her for me when she returns.”

”Y-yes I will.” The man nodded. ”I would like few modification on Taison, if I may ask.”

”Sure, shoot.”

”Could you change his inactive state to this, make him speak with this voice and name him Milenija?” Aren asked showing a fairly large amethyst amulet and a memory disk in right hand and Taison in other. ”If you don't mind, that is, of course.” He added.

As Shari inspected the pendant she recognized it as the Pars award of engineering, the highest possible in all administrative worlds. The memory disk was a recording of person's voice for intelligent device purposes.

”I'll be asking a lot questions for this.” Shari answered, nodding.

”Thank you very much.” Aren wiped his face with his sleeve. ”I'll be going now.”

”I'll ready by tomorrow.” The already working engineer answered. ”Ah... Love. Atleast he got to feel it. I'm sorry Taison, you'll be modified a bit.”

[Alright, master.] The watch answered emotionlessly.

”Subaru?” Teana called for her partner waxing her device, Mach Calibur. ”This mission could make us big.”

”Aye. Not often you get to destroy one of a kind book.” Subaru agreed from their shared desk.
The room was small, identical to Erio's and Caro's, only thing different was that they didn't live in the same room, making this in reality half of the size they had. Truth was that Subaru liked this intimacy with Tia.

”Aah... I can't wait.” Teana rolled on her bed. She slept in the upper bed as she usually went to sleep earlier than Subaru did and climbing the ladders could have woken her up, even that Subaru was a deep sleeper. Tia was very caring even that she might not look like it from the outside. ”This will be my big chance.”

Subaru finished waxing her device and fell backwards to her bed. ”You shouldn't be so eager to run into very dangerous missions.” She adviced Teana slightly kicking her mattress from below.

”We'll be fine. We got the people from the last incident plus actual planning.” The orange haired woman answered still rolling in her bed with excitement.

”I know, but I still worry. You're so rash sometimes.”

”Don't worry. I'll be fine.” The gunslinger answered, worrying Subaru even more.

Truth was that Subaru worried for Teana because she thought too much of herself. She was self-confident, smart and skilled for her age, excluding the super kids Nanoha, Fate and Hayate... Yuuno and Chrono too, but she wasn't immortal. ”I know. Good night.” She kept her worry inside her.

”Hahaa... You did! I have lots of things to ask you.” She offered the man a seat. ”Where is Glia-senpai by the way? She hasn't shown up in a while. Locked up in her workshop for yet another breakthrough I bet.”

”Yes... She...” Aren recalled, hiding his eyes and scratching his head. ”She is indeed working in another project.”

”Oh... I see.” She sat in her chair in understanding. ”Make sure to welcome her for me when she returns.”

”Y-yes I will.” The man nodded. ”I would like few modification on Taison, if I may ask.”

”Sure, shoot.”

”Could you change his inactive state to this, make him speak with this voice and name him Milenija?” Aren asked showing a fairly large amethyst amulet and a memory disk in right hand and Taison in other. ”If you don't mind, that is, of course.” He added.

As Shari inspected the pendant she recognized it as the Pars award of engineering, the highest possible in all administrative worlds. The memory disk was a recording of person's voice for intelligent device purposes.

”I'll be asking a lot questions for this.” Shari answered, nodding.

”Thank you very much.” Aren wiped his face with his sleeve. ”I'll be going now.”

”I'll ready by tomorrow.” The already working engineer answered. ”Ah... Love. Atleast he got to feel it. I'm sorry Taison, you'll be modified a bit.”

[Alright, master.] The watch answered emotionlessly.

”Subaru?” Teana called for her partner waxing her device, Mach Calibur. ”This mission could make us big.”

”Aye. Not often you get to destroy one of a kind book.” Subaru agreed from their shared desk.
The room was small, identical to Erio's and Caro's, only thing different was that they didn't live in the same room, making this in reality half of the size they had. Truth was that Subaru liked this intimacy with Tia.

”Aah... I can't wait.” Teana rolled on her bed. She slept in the upper bed as she usually went to sleep earlier than Subaru did and climbing the ladders could have woken her up, even that Subaru was a deep sleeper. Tia was very caring even that she might not look like it from the outside. ”This will be my big chance.”

Subaru finished waxing her device and fell backwards to her bed. ”You shouldn't be so eager to run into very dangerous missions.” She adviced Teana slightly kicking her mattress from below.

”We'll be fine. We got the people from the last incident plus actual planning.” The orange haired woman answered still rolling in her bed with excitement.

”I know, but I still worry. You're so rash sometimes.”

”Don't worry. I'll be fine.” The gunslinger answered, worrying Subaru even more.

Truth was that Subaru worried for Teana because she thought too much of herself. She was self-confident, smart and skilled for her age, excluding the super kids Nanoha, Fate and Hayate... Yuuno and Chrono too, but she wasn't immortal. ”I know. Good night.” She kept her worry inside her.

The girl froze in place; deer in headlights style. Slowly she turned around seeing Fate just smiling and walking towards her.

“Were you sneaking out,” Fate brought her hot dog up to her mouth “to go service your boyfriend?” With that she proceeded to do a rather provocative motion with the food item leaving the other girl to blush furiously and continue walking on her way.

“I was just going to get some fresh air.”

“And you traveled down here.” Fate fired right back tagging along with the girl. “You shouldn’t do things like that Princess. See there are all kinds of creeps around here. Something might just happen to a little pampered girl like you.”

The girl turned her head away from the blond in defiance, “It seems like one is following me.”

Fate put up her best girly expression “Me? Creepy? That’s so sweet.” She got serious after the girl rolled her eyes. “What? Don’t you like my company? I don’t get it; you were gazing at me the first time I was at your place.”

The girl jumped quickly to defend herself “I never seen a women do that kind of work before. I was curious.”

“That the strength of a man was in the body of such of women as me?” Fate emphasized her female features. Once she got the girl to blush even more she moved on. “Did you enjoy the little show I put on for you? You were blushing pretty badly from what I could see.”

“I… I… never saw someone do something so…” the girl seemed to lose her defensive steam by this point. Now she retuned to what was her normal shy self. “I never saw something so… dirty… I shouldn’t be watching such things, it’s not right.” The girl was back to fidgeting and playing with her hands.

For some reason this seemed to lighten up Fates mood. “It’s ok for you to watch. I wanted you to watch it.” Blue eyes questioned her, “No shame in taking in what is given to you.”

The brunette just marched on while Fate tailed her. Eventually the houses started to get a little too up scale for Fate’s taste.

“Well I shouldn’t go much further. The police might be patrolling to beat back any dirty degenerates from such pristine estates.” Fate turned to walk away but the brunette stopped her from going too far.

“What’s your name?”

Fate turned around and took a gentlemanly bow. “I am Fate.” The brunette once again rolled her eyes at what she thought was a joke. “Now good night Princess, I must be on my way.”

Fate took off before the brunette could say her name. She just sighed and looked at the ground. “I’m not a princess...”

Meanwhile Fate had other words under her breath “Damn why the hell did I walk this far from home?”

The problem is I can envision a very detailed, quick fight scene but its murderously difficult to get it down in words... I don't know how to describe half of it so maybe I'll just leave it up your imaginations?

I think I might be able to type up a nice teaser of about... The middle-ish of the chapter. I was going to make it a "interlude", a sort of special sneak look at a section of the story I wouldn't publish, but I think I'll include it but you all get to see it first.
