The last of the character song/ED singles are out, and I like both of Minato's songs, and "Love Diving". Definitely one of my favorite songs from the show. Though I wouldn't mind a full recording of Sugishita or Sugishita/Karen either, mostly for the novelty factor.

I have no idea, but I'm going to go with "maybe they want to spend some time off around the Holidays" just to play it safe. Besides, it's only been about a week since they released episode 11 anyway. Please don't ask when episode will be released or why they haven't been.

Anime News Network reports that there's going to be an OVA released at the same time as the last DVD volume...

This is another non-story, in a sense. The show was originally supposed to have 7 DVDs, and a few weeks ago they announced that the seventh DVD was canceled. Now, they're "announcing" that an OVA will be released on that same day that they were originally supposed to release DVD 7. All they're really saying is "it's 7 DVDs after all".

This "different" could very well simply mean a different ending, i.e. an alternate telling of episode 12 going for a Yuuhi ending. I wouldn't be surprised by this in the least; give the viewers a Minato ending to make the Minato fans happy and the Yuuhi fans foam at the mouth, then pop up a Yuuhi ending on everyone, and saving the best for last. That way it serves just about everybody. (unless you were somehow hoping for an ending with one of the other heroines) I've actually been suspecting that this would be coming ever since we saw episode 12, especially with all the other people doing alternate-route-animations of other stories. (Clannad, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Da Capo) Unfortunately, volume 6 alone isn't coming until late May......

But keep your fingers crossed.

Correct me if I am wrong as I haven't watched it but the Clannad second series is not really alternative story but the same story continuation telling what happened after, with same established, and in my opinion, horribly boring couple?
