Michael and Klan go out and fight the Vajra swarms in space, outside Island 3, while Ranka is singing inside. The Vajra arrive, the MDE Bomb is about the be detonated, and Klan's Q-Rea gets seriously damaged. Michael helps her out of the Q-Rea, grabs her and starts flying off with her, but the Vajra are still attacking. Michael gets wounded, but he still keeps pushing forwad, carrying Klan to safety.

They apparently get far enough away (and she's embracing Michael's battroid), the MDE bomb explodes, Island 3 goes bye-bye, and Klan "imagines" that she and Michael are standing in a field, and Michael tells her he's sorry.

After the explosion, she's still hanging on to the battroid, and starts saying "We made it! We're alive!"

...and then notices that the torso and legs of Michael's Valkyrie are gone, sheared clean off by the blast.

Thanks for sharing the love. That left me thinking which is a sicker way to die, being blasted off to outer space or being blasted away by MDE bomb. I guess I'd stick with the TV version as my canon. Atleast there Michael confessed and instead of apologizing.

I feel bad for Michael already. I'm sure he gets another variation of his death scene in the movie too.

He kind of confessed in the comic, but it happened BEFORE they went out to fight.

Well...more specifically, Klan asks him if he loves her, and he smiles and says, "I'll give you my answer when we get back." But the fact that he takes A LOT of shots while struggling to save her...well, she has her answer...

But no, it's definitely not as emotional as the show was.

Just saw the Macross F Galaxy Tour Final in Budokan DVD.......er, in a not so honest way.........

I tried to get the DVD but it was more expensive than actually going to a concert (650 HKD...what a rip off). The Fire Bomber concert in Hong Kong is only 480 HKD. You know what I mean?

I'm going to wait until the price goes down before I buy it.

On another note, I just bought a Ranka in bikini figure.......and dressed up in my Mikhail Buran SMS outfit for Halloween :P

With that done, Let's serve the 'Bao's


Well, while am not a Ranka Lee fan, this figure still do impress with it's huge array of accessories, cast-off feature, and an extremely well painted & sculpted figure. The details of her hair band, and other non-removable hair accessories really does bring out the details. Anyway, it's a nice addition to the macross frontier series of figures by this current manufacturer.

Adorable. But I will probably wait for Megahouse's Seikan Hikou Ranka instead.

IMHO Sheryl will pair up with her much better than Nyan Nyan version.

Importing it from Japanese Stores/webstore Dexxy As far as I know, Amazon.jp where I order my questionable stuffs allows international shipping. There should be more though but haven't had time to check the others

EDIT: Unless amazon.jp is tricking us, Ranka's visual book will have 144 pages, more than 2x amount of pages Sheryl's have. I was totally shocked at that lmao Guess some of my feeling that Ranka was pampered by the studio staffs are true to some extent-amazon even already have the contents, contrary to Sheryl's lol

Lucky for me, there's a UK site that deals with artbooks. Sheryl one is pretty cheap, and they should have preorders up for the Ranka collection when it goes on sale.
