Now awaiting P-Bandai MG Sandrock Custom to complete my Endless Waltz gang, well…as complete as it could. *sigh* If only Bandai would release 1/100 or MG White Taurus used by Noin . Some fans are gonna be furious though. They already mad enough when they made Altron an Exclusive.

As for your RGs options, RG Justice & Exia are solid (as solid as RG could). But if you’re nitpicky about proportions, so far the proportions of SEED RGs are a bit off and RG Justice is not an exception.

I have no idea on RG QanT and Sinanju, but I heard they're good.

Didn't Bandai release an MG Sandrock Custom a few years ago?

Some fans are against the idea of exclusives altogether. Can't say I blame them really.

I'm not all that picky about proportions, so that doesn't bother me. That said, I've never actually built an RG before (plenty of HG and MG though). Any recommendation on whether the Justice or Exia would be better for a first-time RG build, or does it matter?

Do you have any opinions on the MGs, or do you agree with Ryuuoh DeltaPlus about going with the MG Freedom 2.0?

No. Not the Sandrock EW OVA version IIRC.

Which one is your preference? A Gundam kit with big backpack or Gundam kit with many blades made of chrome parts? If you prefer the former then go with Justice, but if you prefer the latter then go with Exia. There’s also color-preference where Justice provides non-traditional Gundam colors while Exia has the traditional one. Oh, and RG’s signature variety of color-separation is more evident in Justice than in Exia. Aside from that, both kits are solid with Exia has the upper hand. Both are good for first timers coz the newer RGs have more solid build compared to the earlier batch.

As for some tips of Building RG, well, take your time studying the manuals while building. RGs are not kits that you can rush-build. And beware of the tiny parts – real tiny parts. Make sure you have a clean and comfortable working place before building any RG kits.

As for MGs, I don’t really have any notable complaints on MG Aegis given its nature as transformable MS. I’d even go as far as saying that it’s a good solid kit. MG Exia Dark Matter fixed the old MG Exia’s ankle problem a little but still have minor problems. I’d say it’s a tie between MG Aegis & MG Freedom 2.0. Oh, and if painting is not your thing, you need to paint the inner side of Freedom 2.0’s new Balaena cannons if the plain white appearance bother you while Aegis don’t really need extra painting. And then it's down to your color-preference again.

I have no problems with this. I wouldn't mind seeing more entries to the RG line, personally. It might end up being more for me to buy, though.

That HG Shia Qan[T] just keeps looking better and better to me.

Spoiler:

Why must it be P-Bandai? Whyyy???

- - -

Hey guys, I'd like to ask for help. For the Strike Freedom Full Burst, is there any way to fix the clear rods that holds the DRAGOONS once said rods starts drooping? Full disclosure, I didn't exactly bend it as the manual said I should.

Welp I knew it was only a matter of time for Heavyarms

-takes out wallet to pay up-

Cant wait to complete my collection

@KGR: I dont think theres a way to fix it while keeping the rods at that length, the rods cant support the DRAGOONs weight especially with that length of flexible rod. Cutting it shorter helps but of course that compromises the visual display

So for newly announced stuff we have:

- PBandai Heavyarms EW
- 1/100 MS "B" from IBO
- More Puchiguy variants I wont even bother listing
- HGBF Transient Glacier (man I love that purple/white color scheme, same sorta purple color used for Denial it seems)
- HGCE/REVIVE Strike Freedom (Hell fucking yes Im getting this to replace my old SF)
- HG Origins Zaku 1 Char
- HG Origins MS-04 Gouf (Ramba Ral)
- HG Origins Early Guncannon
- HGUC GM Ground Type

- New? RE/100? Wasn't the Bawoo next? Or are they announcing one coming after it?

I am now wondering if there would ever be an RG build custom after this.

Since Kuroi Hadou asked for it, let me post one of the most honest reviews of RG Sinanju out there :

Apparently, one of the problems is that Bandai largely used RG Gundam Mk-II's inner frame for RG Sinanju instead of making a brand new frame for it. But some of the loose-y problems might be able to be fixed if you coat or paint the kit, and maybe a bit of superglue here and there.

Trying to save money, you mean.

That "might" is largely what's stopping me from buying it now.

now after that review, screw the RG version, just buy the MG Sinanju, makes me worried that Bandai has gone cheap with the designs that it may affect future RG releases.

Also, how can you ever pose it aiming with the Bazooka (exclusive) attached to the beam rifle when it's already struggling to hold the beam rifle alone? You'd have to modify it or superglue it to hell and back. Sure, you can pose with the bazooka alone and hold it over the shoulder but that is so not Sinanju .

....WHY. The HELL...?

The Mk-II (18m) is shorter than the Sinanju (22.6m). Using the Mk-II inner frame to fill out the Sinanju is like putting a 4-foot tall dwarf on a stretching rack to make him fit a 6-foot suit of armor. Does NOT work.

Yeesh, Bandai skimping out one of the things people were looking forward to.

Makes me worried for the RG Build Fighters.

And I even had the RG Sinanju on pre-order. Why Bandai! Why!
I got too hyped on the gold trim gimmick.

I suggest to wait for more reviews to come out before we pass judgement. Syd is reviewing while building a second RG Sinanju and so far, he's been positive about it. But if it's indeed a very flawed kit, my condolences to those who pre-ordered.
