All right, we dropped Gilgamesh since the majority didn't want to watch it. Also, because of IRC network problems some participants were disconnected. Therefore we postponed Midori no Hibi 2 to next week. The schedule in the first post has been updated.

What happened last night (night for me)?
There was a netsplit and I waited 5 minutes for you guys to reconnect, but you didn't.
So I left...

Okay, MnH 2 next week!
We should connect to the same server so the netsplit doesn't happen again. :\

Actually, it was just the servers that didn't reconnect, neither party was at fault.

Anyway, can't wait till tomorrow's party!

So you missed the scene in the stripers bar, with two girls dancing in a tube? Gilgamesh is quite choppy but this scene is smooth...are you interested now?

No.

Are you joining us for this week's party? Seeing that you're on IRC so often now...

I've just found out that Midori no Hibi was licensed. Bad luck for us. Now we have to pick another series to replace it. Any suggestions? We could go back to Gilgamesh.... or we could find another series that looks less likely to be licensed in the next few months.

I hope they do not license any of the other series we are watching too. Since it's already Friday here it would be too late to find a new series for tomorrow's party, but we can decide on one for the next session.

I'm sorry to hear that, but there are lots of other IRC clients you can use (X-chat, irssi) etc. Search for them if you want to join the party.

Ok we postponed today's party because there weren't enough people around. We'll find another series to replace MnH and watch them next week.

What shows are there that are similar to Midori no Hibi?
Is Aishiteruze Baby any good? I don't want to watch it unless it's good.

i don't know if its any good, but i got it d/led from the recommendation of some other people so i thought i'd give it a try (otherwise it would defy the whole point of watching it if i had watched it as i'd know what happened ^^). Basically the storyline (as far as i know) is that theres this boy who is a hardcore 'player' (is that the right word?) but one day he's burdened with his little female cousin and cannot go pulling anymore. The story evolves from there. Anyway, whatever you lot choose, i won't mind but i won't be here for a month as i'm going on holiday today ><

It's a good anime, just remember that it's all about cuteness. If you don't like a cute series you won't enjoy this one, it's not even remotely fun as MnH, but it's heartwarming and kawaii :P

Kyou Kara Maou is something I'd recommend, a bit of shounen-ai (SP?) in it, but nonetheless a intriguing series about a kid who occationally travels to another dimension where he is the king of demons (Not really demons though)
9 episodes are released so far takes about 15-20 days between each episode to be released.

To check the schedule goto the 1st post of the thread. lwl always updates the schedule ^^, but ill be nice and save you the trouble. Tweeny Witches 5 and Madlax 5.

Aishiteru ze Baby is nothing like MnH. Its much more sappy and cute. I actually like watching this series, but for the life of me I dont know why o_O? The only reason I dont really want to watch this is becuase I follow this series already and i really dont want to Re-dl all the eps.

Kyou Kara Maou. Dont know much about it. Watched the 1st ep and forgot about it. Im downith to watch this ^^

Haha, just our luck! First Midori no Hibi gets licensed, so we consider going back to Gilgamesh and that's when Gilgamesh gets licensed!
One word: LOL.
http://v2.animesuki.com/licensed.php?browse=recent
Gosh darn it! Oh, well, I guess we can live with skipping an show as ugly as Gilgamesh!

And you know what?
The lips come and haunt me at night!!

^^

Anyways, we have two nominations now: Aishiteruze Baby, an anime about a womanizing guy, who has to take care of a little girl; and Kyou Kara Maou, about a guy who gets sucked into a toiletseat and comes into another dimension.
Both are Shoujo-animes with comedic elements in them. KKM (new abbreviation for Kyou Kara Maou) is a fantasy-anime, while AB (Aishiteruze Baby) is a drama-comedy.
Right?

So let's start the voting! I vote for AB, since it is very similar to MnH.
