I must say I'm disappointed at Arsenal's lack of mettle and they totally rocked their own boat (COME ON, VERMAELEN, YOU'RE THE CAPTAIN FOR GOODNESS SAKE). United clearly deserved winners but a shocking lack of cutting edge from United themselves. Should have went daylights away. Cazorla hit a class consolation for us however and showed up United's lack of defensive quality at the back, something that will give hope to teams who will face them in the coming weeks.

Now I'm just hoping the team bucks up and puts a good run to ease the pressure on themselves. Cazorla is being relied upon too much to be frank.

Yeah Arsenal just have dropped the ball, thy looked amazing at the start of the season, carzola kicking all sorts of ass but now they are loosing steam both in the premier league and champions league sad to see.

at Manchester City for showing again why they are not European quality at all. Seriously, I wonder how long it will take before Sheik Mansour will drop the axe on Roberto Mancini, who had the same problems with Inter. I already have a candidate for a replacement: Rafael Benitez.

Yeah, I was surprised how clueless City was. They do seem to be a one trick pony, too specialized to operate outside of the EPL.

In the first match against Ajax, it was clear Mancini hadn't done his homework. He pretty much took the worst possible tactical decisions against a passing based side. Sacrificing midfield and no high pressing during Ajax' build up play. I was concerned their individual quality would be too much, but outside of the strikers, it wasn't all that special.

Shame that Real is kryptonite for Ajax, otherwise it would have been possible to make the second round.

Great result for united tonight especially after performing terrible for 70 minutes of that match.

Amazing result for Celtic, my brother and family are huge fans of Celtic and are very drunk from celebrating that match, always refreshing to see the underdog prevail.

Celtic 2 - 1 Barcelona. This is a legend for the club's supporters to be passed down for generations.

I'm absolutely frustrated and feel pretty much hung out to dry. I mean, throwing two two-goal leads in the space of a week. Arteta was absolutely poor yesterday, but only because of the gravity of his mistakes. Overall he was pretty much his usual consistent self. Walcott and Giroud clearly showed us our way and especially the former.

Never seen such effective wide play from him. At least, not since the Newcastle game last season. He's more than capable of winning a game on his own with his pace and much-improved dribbling skill; just needs to show more of this. Arteta was poor because I never thought he looked like scoring the penalty, yet he took responsibliity for it. Had a feeling he'd miss and true enough.

Some bright sparks for us though, like Arshavin being an incredibly effective sub off the bench. He still has good pace in him and is very creative. Assist against United last week and won a penalty this week. If Cazorla needs a break, just put him on behind Giroud.

Aside from our pathetic defensive display, special praise goes out to Dimitar Berbatov. Involved in all three Fulham goals and looks a man reborn at his new club. Good move to leave United.

And yet I don't think he's capable of doing that when it really matters.

He won't get that kind of space against serious opposition but atm he is arguably the best true CF in the world.

I think the 4:2 is the sickest goal I've ever seen in my entire life.

I still think he got lu-

*got bicycle kicked in the head*

Ibracadabra, what the hell was that goal!? Now the "skeptical" English media are already calling it one of the all-time greats, friendly or not.

too bad he just missed out on the deadline for goal of 2012 which is bull crap as it is still 2012 and matches still go on until the end of 2012, doesn't make sense really.
