Windows 7 and Softsubs

I'm currently having problems with softsubs in general while using the latest Windows 7 Beta. It.... simply won't show up unless it's hardsubbed. I can tell it to enable subtitles all I want, but it still won't show up.

I'm currently using the latest CCCP and WPC. Any suggestions?

Don't use beta software.

There's a workaround for MPC(-HC).

Thanks for the fast response. Worked like a charm.

I'm simply screwing around with Windows 7, XP is on another partition. I'm liking it so far, especially since I can watch anime on it as well.

I suppose I worded that sentence incorrectly.... What I meant was that the fix allowed me watch anime on 7, so I didn't have to reboot into XP everytime I wanted to view anything.

Doesn't seem to matter what version of Windows I use... I find myself ignoring all the Microsoft crippled or defective software (IE, WMP, Express, etc) and using open source, freeware, or third party solutions.

Strange how things go so well with that. Beta software is for *TESTING*, not for *USING*. (no matter what Google may think).
