Isn't the fact that the main character is a Lesbian and is constantly surrounded by women good enough as a 'Yuri Harem?' I can't really tell since I've never gotten into the Yuri section myself.

Well, if you look at any harem out there, there's always a love story at the center of it: the main point is watching the protagonist getting one of the girl. But Maria Holic is exactly the opposite; the main point is no seeing Kanako getting a girl, but rather her inability to get any. That's the supposed hilarity to it, and why it's a parody, and not really yuri.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the explanation. I probably won't ever watch a Yuri, since homosexual tendencies tend to turn me off regardless of what gender it is recurring to.

Steel Angel Kurumi Second Season is the closest thing to a yuri harem and perhaps the only anime yuri harem title. There are several girls after the protagonist girl who is a descendant of that annoying little boy from the first season. Luckily, he is LONG dead during her time period in the future.

Here is the info on that one. I own the dvd set and wasted my money on the first season since it all came together. Haven't watched the first season yet but I have heard it has some yuri but the first season has a male protagonist going through the usual boring harem routine.

Not sure why people mention Mai-Hime and Simoun as yuri. Mai-Hime has close to zero yuri moments and Simoun isnt more friendship between girls rather than yuri heavy either. Girls kissing girls isnt always yuri.
