Was not RE@DY for dis shiiizz. Awesome.
Also, it's kinda strange how Shiny Festa starts off by playing the OVA. The entire thing. xD It actually has good quality too, so super duper bonus. Quality probably won't be terrific, but I'll try and upload gameplay after I get a PSP component cable from Gamestop tomorrow (gotta pick up Prof Layton 3DS anyways!). Can't upload the OVA for obvious reasons though. :s PS: The Funky Note OVA was F&#%@# adorable. The ending song is so painfully cute I'm actually struggling to breathe right now.

Too much Yukiho, I'm having seizures! Too good for my eyes!
How the hell did they do the eyepatch clip? Well I finally got the chance to play Shiny Festa (Groovy Tune). I actually like it since you get to watch the videos themselves as if you were playing the PS3 version. The gameplay will take some time getting used to, but it's much funner than watching someone else playing it. I like it much better than project diva (I only played the demos, never got into those games) since it's more accurate and less strict. Apparently Eden has its full choreography, meaning we'll get these new songs on the PS3 soon?! The OVA was awesome, a little too much focus on Miki though (expected). I needed a bit more comedy though. There was a funny scene where Yayoi called Producer.... well I'll leave that as a surprised. There is a lot of content in there, I don't know how they managed to cram so much though Last edited by Julio C; 2012-10-28 at 02:23. |

The OVAs feel a tad cheap because they all start the same, then branch out to kind of lightweight stories involving whomever the game is focused on. They still are nice little one-offs that are fully rendered onto PSP, so it works. The Funky Note OVA makes me want to accept dying of moe, and wow...Miki's so bold in the Groovy Tune OVA.
Aside from that, I'm getting a little used to the game, though it's quite tricky once you hit the higher levels. The game is quite fun overall, I like it.

I just marked it a few mins ago.
I'm going to try Honey Sound tonight, but so far Groovy Tune is my favorite one since it has edeN and my favorite idol (with her best songs) so I doubt anything will change for me after playing Honey Sound. They really need to release the Vampire music stage that was feature in Funky Note. |

It's a very close tie between Honey Sound and Funky Note on which is my favourite. However, if I'm toss aside the simple fact of favourite characters and focus on songs, Honey Sound has so many of my favourites that it easily wins.
I'm also really warming up to Vault That Borderline!, which was my least favourite of the three before. The three poster songs for the games are all really to my liking. Also, I really like how all three versions do have the original version of "THE iDOLM@STER". iDOLM@STER 2 used the 2nd mix version which just wasn't anywhere near as good for me.

L@DIES and Broducers. I'd like to just theoretically ask something.
I know a certain seller in Japan who I've associated with in the past for products, and he may have access to products sold in the Lalabit market for Shiny Festa. Spoiler for An image I received; appears to have access:
I'm not 100% on this, but I'm wondering if anyone is actually interested in buying some of this? From the e-Mail I received, he has access to two different Shiny Festa tapestries (MUSIC ver. and Groovy Note ver.), the towel, 2 Shiny Festa T-shirts (White and Black ver.), one Groovy Note T-shirt, the blanket, decal and clear folders. What I wish to find out is if anyone is actually looking to buy stuff; I can ask him if he's able to help out anyone here on top of myself. I don't see why more sales would hurt, so I thought I'd check here first. I can't guarantee anything, but I sure as heck can ask. Just an early warning that he may refuse for any reason; I can't do anything past that. Cheers. Oh, and you know I'm buying that tapestry and the black T-shirt. Style it up, baby!
