Very good show. Looked forward to it every week. :3
Was initially a little taken back by the art, but got used to it pretty quick. Quote:
Ah ... Guilty Crown, stopped watching after ep 5 or 6. I mass downloaded to that point, and never bothered to continue. The only nice thing about that show was the girls. But that wasn't enough to carry it for me. Too derivative, reminds me too much of Code Geass - of which it's a poor imitation.

In comparison, GC music is too much like the run-of-the-mill pop and never really caught my interest.

Goodnight and good luck.
/sigh
The fact that I'm here, mean I occasionally forget my own good advice. Commenting on the internet is probably the biggest waste of time in modern living. Majority of the time nothing really gets accomplished, no one really gains anything. De gustibus non est disputandum. Even if you win the argument, you lose at life - by wasting precious time that can be used to do something more productive and useful. News sites all over the web of course encourage it by posting inflammatory headlines as it drives repeated view to their site. So do social media sites like Facebook - it's an essential part of their business model. Just turn 30 today. Not much time left to waste ... So long everyone. With luck you will never see me here again.

While i dont want to harp on whats already been said, I've got to big up Un-Go's OST aswell. It probably had the strongest orchestration of the fall season with Ben-To and Persona 4 also being noteworthy.
I just loved how certain pieces were defined by certain moments in the Anime. For instance you would have the Latin guitar kick in when mysteries were unravelling and things were drawing to a conclusion. Its simple yet very effective. Although i can see his point if we are strictly dealing with the OP & ED themes. While i love Un-Go's ED and like the OP, i do prefer GC's as a combined package. |
