Ducktales Remastered (PS3, 360, Wii U)
Boy, did this one catch me off-guard. Not only did Capcom reveal at PAX East that a new Mega Man game is in development (which hopefully isn't another officially licensed fangame), but then they go off and show..... THIS:
I believe many of us who had an NES remember the awesome Ducktales game, right? Now while I do admit that I am LOVING the remake's sprites, the 3D backgrounds don't leave as much of a positive impression on me, I'm sad to say. Still, this is being developed by WayForward, so I do have confidence this will still be a cool remake. |

^I'll be honest here: As much as I also love the Moon theme (definitely one of my top favorite NES tunes ever), my personal favorite tune from Ducktales was always the Transylvania theme. I really want to hear how THAT would sound in the remastered version.....
Still, the arrangements are being handled by Jake Kaufman (who handles the music for most of WayForward's games), so I'm fully confident that he'll do them justice to the originals. Funny you should mention that..... |

The only things missing is Bucky O`Hare and Little Nemo for the full nostalgia blast.
I`m afraid Chip`n Dale might get some changes... The casino and the final boss attack come to mind. Spoiler for CnD`s final boss:

Ah I'm among those who used play this on the game boy, it's cool that they made a remake for it, but at the same time I'm quite baffled at how the industry is working nowadays.
We get a remake of Duck Tales on PS3, 360, and Wii U and we get Breath of Fire 6 on tablets and smartphones...

No Capcom of Japan. It`s almost weird how there isn`t a whole lot of Japanese names in the credits.
