Does anyone know what happens to the hollows that Ishida kills. He says that he didn't agree with the old quincy's feelings about hollows, but is his power any different. Doesn't he just permantly destroy them? We know Ichigo purifies them when he beats them, but what about the rest of the scoby gang. Does chad and Ishida's power do that as well?

As stated previously, quincys destroy them completely... Chad well.... i think it destroy them as well...

I think they just stated that ishida's power destroys them, thus upsetting the balance. I don't think they ever said what happens when chad or orihime kills a hollow.

If so why cann't he see that that is a bad thing?

Probably for quincys, they are hunted by hollows because of their reiatsu. Their only choice of defence is to completely kill the hollows, they dont have a choice. It's kill or be killed.

Could just be as said above it's kill or be killed, can't just rely on some shinigami to save you. Plus you always have the other side of hollows kill those who have high reiatsu most likely their relatives or people they know why give them a second chance right?

Though if Ishida's grandfather wanted to join forces and work together with the shinigami. Just thinking that isn't it possible after all that time they could learn how to adjust their powers so they have a similar effect to the swords and not just destroying the hollows? Of course maybe it's just an impossible thing, just thinking really.

Has it ever been stated that Hollows attacked Quincies, though? I was always under the impression they would only attack souls for food and Shinigami because of the whole enemy thing.

they are attracted to people with high spiritual pressures which one include quincys. it was states only the shinigami blades can cut hollows with the exception of arrows which vaporize them, but then we got chado, orihime, and kon as a projectile being able to wound they. they went from main villain to crappy cannon fodder overnight. claymore did a similar thing to youmas.
