I wouldn't go that far to say it is Ar Tonelico-ish.
It doesn't feel exaggerated enough.

I noticed Yonao tweaked how it plays after the refrain part, it sounds a bit different after that with how it plays back in the trial.

Though, for some reason it doesn't sound as good after listening to it for the whole game (I blame the lack of new BGM for this).

I don't think so, the melody just sound similar. Though, it does seem like a full song divided into two things that makes them still sounded natural if you combine them side by side.

Has there been any word of which studio will make the OVA/Pilot Episode? Assuming that the funding doesn't get a ridiculous increase all of sudden.

Someone asked Masada before what if Reinhard challenge Araya ? Can he become Rosei ?

Masada's answer : Impossible for him, due to how big his Legion is his trial would be so difficult. "お前の一番壊したい奴を壊して見ろ、と見たいな試練になるんじゃね"

Someone also asked if they will make a Tarot card for Dies cast, Masada said to ask G and G said actually he also has interest to make one too!

And Masada said the drama CD will be about Machina, and he said don't have any intention to change it (the other casts might appear though). Something like his time when he joined LDO for the first time. They also revealed the short story vol.1 will be about the period after the event in Die Morgendammerung (after the Beast confirmed dead in the public).

Masada writing well is one half of necessary ingredients to fix new viewers' attention before Marie route....

Pretty animation is another. One thing's for sure, the one in charge of actual animation is unlikely to be UFOtable (Fate/SN being something like a rival franchise and all)

I still feel they should give this to the competent half of Mad House. More specifically, the team that did Death Parade.
That team has exactly what it takes to do Dies Irae.

Masada's writing is fine but how well it looks in the transition is a whole different ball game and highly depends on the choreographes and how much satisfies the expectation of the fans.

As for getting the viewer's attention they need to pull a shock and awe during the russian curb stomp in Berlin and put as much awe and chuuni in that scene. As it's going to set the mood for future episodes.

If ufotable takes this project i'd eat my bacon.
