Somehow, millions and millions of Romney supporters still don't get that this guy is saying anything just to get elected. I mean, he changed his stance on so many things on the first presidential debate, and people (somehow) thought he won the debate, and Romney supporters who saw him just lie on where he stood on things, they just shrugged it off. Anything to get the black man outta the white house, I guess. This presidential race shouldn't be this close.

Either way I can see where you are coming from I just personally believe we should fix other things before allowing for a better immigration system. With all the rest of the world struggling I can imagine if it was easier to get into the U.S. we'd have even more immigrants than the norm trying to get in. Thats really all I have to say on the matter but nice disscussing with you.

Obama mentioned plans, details, and how Romney's wouldn't work.
Romney mentioned the problems, the results needed, and no details for his proposals (AKA HOW HE WOULD DO THEM). Romney got dismantled.

I have an eye on CNN's website and it looks like the "Obama by a lot" choice earned around 50% of the poll results.
Even the focus group gave a good margin for Obama for tonight (14 against 6) although 15 of the 35 people in that group remained undecided. |

--- Obama won on the economy, women's rights, some on Libya, and energy. But, Romney won on job creation easily and somewhat taxes and had a great job generally debunking of Obama's record (note, Romney actually addressed his future plans, however stupid they may be, but Obama mentioned little to nothing about plans for the future). They both failed on the gun creation, Romney failed miserably on Libya. Still, this was a decent debate. Last edited by james0246; 2012-10-16 at 22:03. |

Charity president unhappy about Paul Ryan soup kitchen ‘photo op’
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...chen-photo-op/ Paul Ryan shows up to a soup kitchen without consent from the person he needs consent from, and he wouldn't have wanted anyone, republican or democrat, doing what Paul Ryan did. Paul Ryan tries to boost the image of the Romney campaign with a photo op of him at the soup kitchen, and it is a total sham. He spent 15 minutes at the soup kitchen as he was on his way to an airport. They weren't serving food anymore (breakfast ended), the people being served left, and Paul Ryan, his wife, and some people start scrubbing clean dishes and got it on photos to make it look like Paul Ryan helped at a soup kitchen. And again, the head of the soup kitchen really didn't want Paul Ryan to be there and to be doing that (he has a good reason for it, it is in the article). Nice try, Paul Ryan.

(CNN) - As Mitt Romney explained, "I went to a number of women's groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks,' and they brought us whole binders full of women."
If nothing else, at least we can get a laugh out of him.

Yeah, His non-answer "binder full of women" (to sidestep the equal pay for equal work issue) is probably going to haunt him. It was such a "well, we hire wimmen!!" answer.
Seriously, I played debate coach .... neither answered *every* question directly, but the difference was in the *content* of their answers. Fact checkers will have a field day with Romney versus Obama. Unfortunately, *content* doesn't seem to matter to a large part of the public. Snap polls say women were "upset that both men were rude" and men liked that "both men were assertive". Personally, I think the moderator should have been given a taser to use.

Unless the fact checkers were too busy checking out the Asian girl in the fishnet stockings (that was later picked to answer one of the questions) to listen to Obama or Romney very much. She's like the purple stockings girl from the Epic Beard Man video two years back, kinda stole the show.
