A boyfriend and a replacement brother in one, who she can keep doing that absurd chocolate thing with. She needs to seek professional mental help.
I think it's a bit more complicated than that. The whole thing with her clinging to his arm and how he acted the entire time seems to indicate that it's not very simple. It's clear that she has her issues but it seems he also have some bit of problems. The fact that he stayed with her all these years, his anger during this episode, the sadness in his eyes also showed that over the years he might have "broke" down in a way as well. It also seemed like he wanted to be someone really important to Chisato but as Oojima Yuuki and not as Daiki. Which leads me to believe that when he said that he does not love Chisato in that way, he means that in his current role as Daiki, he will always be with her but he does not love her in the romantic way. His actual self, Oojima Yuuki, might have a deeper feeling for Chisato than what we were led to believe initially when he outright said that he does not love Chisato in a romantic way.

I was already interested in their relationship and now I'm even more interested in what exactly is going through their heads and what exactly happened that leads both of them to where they are. Satsuki is definitely my favorite but I think Chisato is not bad at all and could possibly be a really good fit with Yuuki as well.

Also anyone notice how everyone in the club room seems to not be shocked at all when Satsuki showed up? They even called her Sacc-chan. It seems that offscreen, Satsuki does go to the clubroom frequent enough for them to be used to it or something.

So far the one thing I'm disappointed about this show is not enough development for Mifuyu and Isara. I want to know more about those two. All the focus been primarily on Chisato and Satsuki (I'm not complaining at all. Satsuki is full of win) and now possibly Michiru.

"Non chan-senpai" always does that when she is talking to people that she knows.

edit:
it's also not possible that Satsuki has been sneaking into the shokken of screen often for a few reasons
- this would raise rumours for the elections if she was seen by the other students, because she is still a political rival of Oojima.
- Chisato. i don't need to explain this
- If we have to go by the anime version, only a few days has passed after the training camp and Satsuki's rekindling with Hazuki. So unless she has been going to the shokken really alot in the past few days, i can't see the rest of club talking to her casually like that.

Good catch. At first I thought the Sacchan thing was like with Mouri but then I remembered that Satsuki isn't a third year. Then again only Non-chan actually stated it was her. The other characters didn't need to say anything per se, but you're right, that would mark the first time the anime actually showed Satsuki encountering (not really) the other club members as well as Isara.

On a random note, dang, did anyone notice that Yuuki was still holding onto the harmonica despite getting hit?

After watching again I can see that Chisato's behavior is actually valid. Just remember that the traumatizing past effect can be really traumatizing at that young of an age.

OK, so with the new episode, we discovered Michiru's true identity. Why was she placed in the club in the first place? I think Michiru had more dialogue this episode than all the previous episodes combined.

I'm surprised if it is really true that Michiru has not met up with Kana yet. This episode really put things into high gear.

Satsuki's concerns and fears shows how truly geniune her feelings are, and her reaction to the situation is just right. Chisato, on the other hand, has been ultra bossy and possessive towards Yuuki. I'm really surprised that Yuuki has put up with this for so many years. It is almost as if he is staying with her because he fears she would commit suicide otherwise. Not an enviable position for Yuuki to be in. Yuuki also sees her feelings in him as a replacement for her brother, and for the guilt she holds. It looks like Chisato refused to share chocolate with her younger brother, who ends up walking in front of bus for some reason. Either way, this really seems like a Fatal Attraction, and Chisato is extremely mentally disturbed. That goodness this is not School Days, but I really do hope Chisato can snap out of it and let Yuuki go to live his life.

Wow, that actually makes it 3 times that he has rejected her... well, 4 times if you count this episode as well. I'm not sure who I should worry for more, Yuuki or Satsuki. Chisato has Obsessive Love Disorder (OLD), and really needs psychological help.

As for the president, it really is intriguing what is going on. So Kana works for the president, and was investigating Oosawa. Once Kana wakes up, Oosawa might be done for, which will pave the way for Yuuki to win the elections. Michiru has zero chances as a love interest at this point. Did she not wear any panties?

Overall, this was a very exciting and intense episode. Satsuki was so much win over her tiny scenes. The Chisato relationship has been fleshed out more, and sympathy for her has dropped to an all time low. She scares me more than anyone else in the show, even more than Oosawa.

Btw, who is Haida again?

Was my previous idea of their relationship not good enough. I think he stayed with her this long probably indicates something deeper than that. And it's clearly not Obsessive Love Disorder. It's more along the line of guilt and trauma which probably results in her trying to use Yuuki to ease her guilt.

She's one of the girls that bump into him in an earlier episode. A cameo appearance for the game studio's new game.

I am more worry about Chisato than any plot element at the moment. The Studio can really decide to go School Days mode at any moment (which I hope they don't) . I have not play the original game so I do not if there any bad end. The episode was far more interesting than previous one for me.

Actually Haida had not shown up in any previous episode. She's the 4th cameo. She is not Matsuri.

I don't think this qualify as a spoiler, but Koichoco does not have that kind of endings like in school days. There weren't even any kind of bad ends at all.

Chisato has Obsessive Love Disorder
This is too much.

She lost her brother and is losing the love of her life and all I can here is no sympathy but claims of her love as fake, brocom and psychotic in nature... All she need is counselling and not rehab.

I wrote my piece before seeing what you wrote. You did make some good points. However, this is Obsessive Love Disorder. After watching this episode, it is not possible to not claim that she has a psychological condition that is dangerous to herself and/or others. Yuuki was essentially threatened to remain with her. At that age, I would be scared as well. What happened when he tried to distance himself? She went crazy and cried. Would he dare try that again? Not for the longest time. Yes, he does care for her, and yes, there is potential that he might want her to love him for who he is. However, for what has happened, it is not a healthy relationship for him to be in. He is intelligent, and he knows it.

She is dangerous to herself and to others right now. I agree that she needs counseling, but that does not excuse her behavior.

Hayst. Let's just watched the ending... be prepared... What ever is the ending... Yuuki still made a wise choice... anyway.. I'm not fond of hearing of exaggerating reactions... in anime, behaviors are often exaggerated so its normal to see scenes like this... It's still normal in a sense.... Because of that, claiming Obsessive Love Disorder in an anime show is invalid... I will not make sure claims since I'm a nurse and not Psych Doctor...

Personally on Satsuki... I still have doubts in her intentions with Yuuki because he is her political opponent... I still look at her as unworthy of love interest...

Eventhough i can't exactly spoil the details on Chisato in her own story, I don't like how the anime is handling her at all.

I agree with you actually. The director probably wants to put peoples' sympathy to Chisato by making her look pitiful and helpless... but it made it worst.... If they showed in moderation..Chisato would have been the best candidate for Yuuki since they were very close and she loves him...

If you consider punching a mirror and clinging to a person all day, to the point that he can't even use the bathroom or shower, as normal, then I'm not sure what is considered not normal. He went as far as slapping her to snap her out of it. That's not normal. Anime can exaggerate things a little, but the things presented in this episode was very intense, where most other animes would not dare to explore.

As for Obsessive Love Disorder, you just need to click on the link I had, and by looking over the symptoms and causes, and you can tell that this is what Chisato has. Just because the anime did not outright say she has it, does not mean that the statement is invalid.

The great thing about forums? Everybody is entitled to their own opinions.

If that is what you believe, then there is nothing I can say or have already said that will ever change your mind. As far as what is shown in the anime, Satsuki is 100% genuine with her love for Yuuki.

Ok, Chisato supporters. Do you at least agree that the absurd chocolate ritual is not a healthy habit for either Yuuki or Chisato? Regardless of how this anime ends, I hope they at least stop doing that.

Lucky for you... Chisato's character is made bad in the anime... Well, that's you opinion... I wouldn't waver if even she's perfect Satsuki that is... Well, opinion is opinion.. let's just wait for the ending and see..

Wow Chisato is ****ing psychotic or what? She's just using him as a replacement for her brother, how messed up. How has he tolerated her behavior all this time?

The flashback was bad enough, but then in the present time she actually begins to literally cling onto him. Then Oojima feels compelled to apologize to her? She needs professional help.

I'm glad he finally had the balls to set her straight, but my goodness, this absolutely can't continue. There is nothing at this point they can do to make me buy their relationship so I hope it doesn't go down that route.

That said, I enjoyed the second half of the episode much more than the first half. The more Chisato drama there is in this, the more aggravating it becomes to watch this show.

Personally, if anything, I see this as legitimizing her feelings even more. What does Satsuki possibly have to gain by getting close to Yuuki in any way? If it was found out that she was in some sort of scandalous relationship, her popularity could suffer tremendously (considering her position in the first round, she can pretty much only go down). Keep in mind Yuuki is a long-shot candidate even if he's our protagonist; he doesn't bring any power or prestige to the position, and his core votes are generally speaking a vote against Satsuki's "club-closing" plan.

I can see why there's always some reason to be suspicious about this sort of thing, but I just can't figure out the angle that this could play on. It seems to me that best thing she could do from a political point of view is stay away. Based on that, and based on the nature of their encounter (before the election started) and everything else (including the whole conflict with her sister), I can only see her feelings as genuine.

(Now whether you consider her a worthy love interest or not... of course that's just personal opinion.)
