Hi All!

First, I want to give my condolences to a man who has profoundly influenced anime in the U.S. and perhaps as a by-product, the world. Gary Gygax passed on to a higher plane yesterday and his spirit lives on in the game he co-invented, Dragons & Dungeons, the most successful seed mother of all RPGs. My dad recalls whole dorm rooms playing D&D in college, and the spirit of that game helped propel not only an entertainment genre but booted interest in sci-fi (helped inspire Star Wars) and adventure games and manga and anime in the U.S. and the West like few forces did before. So when we see Kona-chan crack her keyboard at MMORPGs, let's think a second of Gary for helping to make it all come to pass!

After seeing all the awesome art some really talented guys are chugging out here, I have an artist request! If anyone here is an artist or knows one who'd like to go past beautiful single panel art and try their hand at making manga panels for a new free manga story I'm cooking up for LS sites like this one to feature, please beep me! To give your freehand artistic imagination an idea where I'm going, the title of this Lucky*Star spin-off is "Kona In Tronland"...

I really like the wider framed Kanata image to use as my avatar, but first let me ask, without sounding greedy or ungrateful, is it possible to do the scene of Kanata with dress and bonnet blowing in the breeze as seen in ep 22 as a moving avatar? If this isn't possible then I'd be happy with the image you posed. Thanks!

I seen this picture way back in this thread somewhere (I'm not finished reading it yet) and really liked how it was sketched, and decided to try out photoshop cs2 and color it. 9 hours later (after getting really addicted to how well it was working out) i came up with this:

The original sketch which was Not done by me is on the left, and the cs2 version is what i did today.



This is the first time i've ever tried photoshop cs2, definitely love it.

I wish I could, but someone else already has that avatar. It's taken, unfortunately. =/
