Well the $1.4B is only 7% of the total profit from XBOX, Motorola wanted 100% which was $20B, but they got knocked back.

It's kind of amusing though since Microsoft was able to get imports of Motorola Smart Phones banned a couple of days ago.

Wtf, the patent over “the ability to schedule a meeting request from the mobile device itself”? What's next? The patent over "the ability to call for emergency if owner face critical conditions"? Will the next generation actually be allowed to breath without violating some shitty patents/ copy right?

Probably not. Next thing we know air is probably patented. Personally finds this amusing. Microsoft has too much money ends up being chump change in the end.
