I hope if this series must have original ending, it doesn't kill the possibility of sequel with return to manga plot.
Maybe something like anime original arc ?

It'll probably be an open ending of them setting off to find Takeshi or Rei's parents.

This looks really good. From the Trailers, and pictures seen here, I have a feeling I will like Saeko.

Because the manga is still ongoing in Japan, we need a original anime ending ?
And the anime is more or less watered down than the manga ?

All I hope the anime means is that there will be more HotD figures.

I'm still holding out for a figure of Rei with the M14...

If by updating, you mean, "Be accompanied by well-endowed schoolgirls", sure.

WHAT !? GRANRODEO (who perform IGPX, Kurokami and laterly Needless) do not perform because it is a zombie anime genre with a touch of ecchi (and non-moe graphic style). I'm sick they performs a second Madhouse anime plus ending with very childish genre performed by heroines voices. It's OLDCODEX or ACID(Tokyo Majin)-like J-rock band to perform both opening and ending songs.

I'll admit I found out about this series while browsing the author's ero-manga a while ago Gotta love how despite its simplicity, it is quite well thought-out and researched. Gritty, poignant, sexy, and funny, I place this on the same shelves as Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland. I hope the anime will be as entertaining XD

...Jesus christ I think I came when I watched that trailer.

A high quality anime show about survival/fighting focusing on "realistic" weapons?

Now that is one BAD ASS trailer realistic weapons and setting and just general gore makes a great story. The quality looks like its going to be top notch.

I had to go change my shorts when my waifu pulled her sword out seeing her animated is all i need for sweet dreams. Miyuki Sawashiro as Saeko is perfect her tone and pitch are perfect for it. I have no quams about the VA line on this one.

now the bad part: HAVING TO WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fan of early Resident Evil games inside me is definitely happy about what he sees here, but i am having my doubts how well the fanservice is going to mix with the atmosphere here. One thing i have never been a fan of is excessive bouncing, and it doesn't seem like there is going to be any shortage of it. Panty shots during dramatic moments is a second peeve of mine, and looks like we have good chances for those as well. While i don't have anything against fanservice, i do believe there are situations where it just doesn't mix in. Scenes that are otherwise meant to be serious being a prime example. While it certainly is possible to mix fanservice and serious anime together, i find it meh to have both on the screen at the same time - one at a time please, they ruin each others mood when combined

That aside, looking towards to some nostalgic zombie smashing

*watches trailer*
*drools*
*random fanservice*
*..........................*

It looks great for the most part. I only hope that the high quality isn't just the trailer though, and although impossibly, considering the manga, I wish they hold back on random shots of butts and everything when the situation is very serious and all...
Anyways, definitely looking forward to it. Zombie films, I've seen... But zombie anime, not so much.

I'm not really that fond of the kind of random fan service that the series is known for. However the action and setting are simply top notch, and I do like the characters.
