im still waiting for a translation of Soul Link...looks like it'll take forever i guess...

I finally sat down and took a look at the website.... interesting outfits, website design, etc...... Not knowing squat about the personalities, so far the two women most appealing to me lookswise are Tachibana and Yu.

Guess I'll have to search for a story synopsis and start trying to gather a clue about this show. I loathe it when they use Flash for text readouts.... you can't cut'n'paste it into a translator tool. If anyone can roughly translate the Introduction paragraph at the http://www.soul-link.com/intro/index.html, I'd be appreciative.

Shuffle is over and.... Its not to long away compare to when we first had about Soul Link... its set up to Air next month. Well at first I wasn't to interesting in Soul Link but since the character designs and original ideas are from Navel I think I'll check it out

Oh! I looked at the main lead girls and I really liked Yu's Voice and she has a nice character design. I'm sure they would have the same VA in the anime as with Shuffle, so far there are a few other good VA from listing to the samples on the game site. but.. I'm really not liking Nanami voice at all.

New anime to be fansubbed
the story
Aizawa Ryota was in the 3rd grade of the preparatory course of Central Military Academy. AD 2045, he went to a space station, Aries, for the training with his classmates including Nagase Saka and Nittak Kazuhiko. However, the station was attacked by a terrorist group, Hallarax.

Whether can they escape from the station to go back to the Earth?

Back when i first had a lil' play of Soul Link, i wasen't that sure it would work as a Anime, but if its going upto 24/26 episodes.. then they should do a good job.

As for the promo, i'll just paste what i said in the Soul Link thread in the Shuffle! section.

I saw the promo seemed to look pretty nice except for the 3D ship.. It looked like something an Nintendo SNES conjured. I really hope they try to make it look a lot better. The quality of the promo seemed low so i cant base the rest of the series off of it. But hopefully it looks A LOT more improved for the final version.

Hmm, i'm that sure about the quality of the promo.. i mean i know it's on the official site & all, but why so bad? o.o

Looking forward to it. I hope they do a good job for SL.. the storyline seems pretty interesting..I hope they dont make SL like shuffle. How nice its air date is a day before my bday ^_^ nice bday present for me

Maybe trying to get more people to watch it, therefore more people will follow with the TV series?

But it looks nice, even with that 3d Ship. However I think they should get some lessons from the people who made the ships for Gundam Seed/Destiny, since they were 3d models, but weren't as grotesque as this one.

i didn't think the station looked THAT bad. well as long as we aren't seeing tons of shots of it every episode.

Anyway, I hope this show is not wasted like Shuffle. Although I doubt it, it IS the same company after all. I can only hope.

yeah speaking of the soul link threads in the shuffle board, shouln't they be taken out. After all Soul link and shuffle are not the same anime, as in say Mai Hime and Mai Otome.

Anyway as for the3d space ship, I too didnt think much of it. The pace of the plot shouldn't be too slow, after all its only 12 eps.

I'm also looking forward to Soul Link, Shuffle was my most favourite Anime last year. From what I've seen in the promo, I like the character design. The CG part is something I have to get used to, after all there wasn't anything like that in Shuffle.
