Very nice well-paced episode with some quality animation.
Not a fan of main characters pairing, but here it was so beautiful
It would be better if Rukia added something like " If it weren't for you, I would have died" or " Without you we couldn't have defeated Aizen". I just don't like the undervaluation of Ichigo's role in defeating Aizen.

the animators have a habit of shipping ichixhime in the fillers, movies and stuff, but when they ship ichixruki, they ship it HARD.

I haven't seen this ep, in fact, i just started watching this filler arc (gotta love collecting eps). I already enjoyed the stand alone filler eps almost as much as the manga arc

So with all the praise I heard about this filler arc, I expect great things!

That's not true at all. The animators blatantly ship IchiRuki, and always have. Once in awhile they add a little IchiHime ship tease. Majority of the times they promote IchiRuki

BEST EPISODE EVER! It is because of this I decided that anime original content is canon after all. So what if it didn't happen in manga. It's canon in anime

The anime team is surprisingly diverse, they give attention to anything and everything possible (i.e. the Toshirou and Karin ep). I give them a million more kudos than the naruto anime team (which I haven't watched since the Pein arc...it hurt so bad to watch

).

Ichigo losing spirit energy again... mod soul boost was a temporary thing.
The ice skating part was nice & relaxing. Kon was as interesting as ever ^^
Rukia & Ichigo vs huge hollow was some nice teamwork.
Yet again, he's losing his powers, but he took it pretty well..
