Hayate no Gotoku - Favourite Character(s) Poll

I had to give it to Hinagiku and Maria. My two favorite characters by far. Either one could end up with Hayate. Though I'd take both if I could.

Maria and Hina for me, although I prefer Maria out of the 2. Maria is *so* cute when she gets angry!

Tama all the way, every comedy/romance needs the character who always makes you laugh when he shows up.

Sakuya Easily my favorite character in the series so far. She's kind of a tertiary character, so she's not nearly as developed as Maria/Hayate/Nagi, but she has had some screen time. She speaks her mind, and has the sort of personality that I like. You know she's gonna take you for a ride, but you just aren't sure where. Probably the biggest thing for me is her wardrobe. The long skirts she wear look awesome on her. Her confident stance makes them all the better, there are some great line/curve dynamics going on. Moreover, her image really fits her character: forward, exciting, confident, but still feminine. For a great example of her wardrobe, look no further than the opening sequence (as of episode 26).

Nagi Definitely my favorite main character. She has the tsundere thing going, what with the twintails and all, but she's about 90% dere by volume. Adorable is really the best way to describe her. If it weren't for her shy disposition regarding certain topics, and her pure brashness in regards to others, the show would go nowhere. The character has a lot of faults, but that's what I find endearing.

Good to see Hinagiku still has so high popularity despite now she was totally marginalized by the screenwriter and the director in the TV series.

Still cannot believe that she lost to Luna in Saimoe...

my favorites is :
- maria(what a very beautiful,feminime,and i dont believe it when know that she is only 17)
- hinagiku ( wow another tsundere, pretty, and i like her pink hair)
- and of course nagi(i dont want to give more comment other than excellent, along with kugumiya rie as her seiyuu make her more excellent)

I voted for:

Maria and Hinagiku first of all.
Maybe Maria has a slight advantage imho. Great charisma and intuition

Hayate for all he has to go through...

If Hinagiku had more screentime, she'd overshadow them all.
Hina didn't even go on the trip and she still got scenes. That's how much pwnage she is.

Regarding Ten no Koe's previous performances, he had a role in tsuyokiss as the principal and in Soul Link as the vice commander of the space station.

Tama is unbelievably funny later in the anime

Katsura no oneesan is funny as well. Especially her devilish act

My favorites are Hinagiku, Isumi and Maria. And for everyone who said they like the narrator, yea he really has a cool voice. I noticed right away when he first started talking, I was like hey! it's the guy that played Onsokumaru from 2x2 Shinobuden!

I'm a little surprised Nagi came in first. Ayumu jumped in popularity compared to the poll that was in manga.

Is the character poll for the anime or the manga? If it is for the anime, that makes sense since the good Hina parts hasn't been animated yet.

Site I found it from says "Character ninki touhyou in Akihabara"
so it's some character poll from Akihabara? I guess it's both anime and manga.
I dunno if it's a store or how they do it.

I voted Hinagiku, Isumi and narrator. I don't think I need to evolve my reasoning behind it, if you've read enough on the thread you could see others reasons why those are wonderful characters.

Hayate, Maria, Narator, and Santa. I liked them all as characters. The rest are uninteresting to me.

i had to vote for tama and only tama. he is by far one of the main reasons i watch this series. when i first started watching this it didnt really catch my attention but the scene where hayate is talking to the tiger about them being similar, then all of a sudden the tiger is standing up and mocking him. im sorry thats what got me into the series. just to see what tama does next.
